"Avoid this place like the plague. I’ve lived in different places in Denton and this is by far the worst management ever. They run the place like it’s a boarding house from the 1950s; they’re greedy, intrusive, and particularly unfair to international students. The landlady shows up whenever it suits her to make sure the place is clean and tidy. We were charged $65 once for fixing the garbage disposal; we had to pay a $50 fine another because the kitchen wasn’t clean “up to her standards” even though we had just cleaned it; and we were asked to keep the bathroom door open at all times for ventilation or we would have to pay another $50 fine. We had to move out after just one year because they increased the rent by $600. We made sure to deeply clean the apartment and had the pictures to prove it, but she still withheld $1130 of the $1200 deposit."
