Alliance Pediatrics - Beach Street

"In the Constitution, freedom of speech is a fundamental right that is protected. Under freedom of speech, individuals can express their opinions, even the negative ones, without fear of retaliation. Unfortunately, you can not give an honest review about this company. The reason is that they will track you down and call you regarding your review. I wrote a review on the previous location and received a call. My review wasn't too bad. The call was an unsettling experience. Looking at the other reviews, I see that other patients have had their services canceled because of their review. It is disappointing to know that we live in a time where a customer is in fear of leaving a review. Because their child will suffer. No parent should feel like they need to be silenced so that their child can receive medical attention. Feedback helps people improve. With that being said, I would like to agree that the desk lady upon checking out was not very pleasant but not irate. She was just not friendly but was helpful. If you need the pleasantries, you might be offended. I personally didn't care as long as she helped. She didn't appear very happy. Customer service has changed over the years. Dr. Grunberg was informative and helpful. He came in and spoke directly to the baby. I believe that to some degree, his behavior is based on expertise. We personally like to have every action verbalize before acting. But he went through the exam quickly. My husband and I didn't like the private parts check. It was not announced. It also did not seem necessary. It was also not done at the previous appointment. I also didn't like the fact that he had her up in the air when checking her back pamper area. As a concerned parent, the exams always make you nervous. Especially when your baby is so small. My comfort level will increase over time. The goal is for my daughter to be seen and to get her shots. He seems like a nice and experienced doctor with a unique sense of humor. He made one joke about calling CPS. I laughed nervously and let it go. As a human resources analyst, college professor, and psychiatrist, I had thoughts about the joke. CPS as an industry is no laughing matter. As usual, I complement, ask questions, pay attention, and thank people for helping me and my family. We need to just make it through the appointments. The wait time was not long. This was just our experience at this appointment. Overall, it was a successful appointment. I do not want a call back. I'm giving 5 stars to prevent upsetting anyone. I personally read reviews and like posting reviews. Feedback is a gift."

"Alliance Pediatrics on Beach St is amazing! Everyone treats my son with love and care. They have gone above and beyond to ensure that all our health needs are met. Any time my son has been sick, they have always made room in the schedule to see him right away. If I call after hours, then the on call nurses are very helpful. I feel like my family is in good hands with Alliance Pediatrics!"

"Awesome Doctors and staff! Our son is 12 and Alliance Pediatrics has been our doctors office since birth. They really care about their kiddos patients and their parents! The one star comment about Dr. Robertson is ridiculous. She has always treated my son with concern and has always made him feel comfortable during his visits."

"There’s two different entrances, one for well and one for sick. Had to wait for my paperwork and my appointment started later than scheduled...The waiting area is open with lots of seating. When we came they were changing the fish tank water and it was kind of loud and annoying. Loved all the art on the walls and so did my 3 year old. Shots are VERY expensive here. Like $150 for one shot. They give out coins for the toy vending machine after your appointment. My daughter loved that. It’s close to my house so I would come back again for her yearly check up."
