"Dr. Newton is a wonderful physician! This is a busy clinic, but she always takes time to answer any questions and make sure both my child and I understand what is happening. My child recently had a lengthy illness and she was so persistent and patient with us! She kept looking for answers until we had some! I cannot recommend this practice enough. The staff is always very friendly and helpful as well. And the nurses always call me back promptly. They are very patient as well! I came to this practice due to insurance reasons, but now, even with better insurance, I would never change!!!"

"If I could rate this doctor and clinic zero stars I would. I moved to Texas 2 years ago and it took us 7 months to even be seen. My son has Cerebral Palsy and ADHD. It took about another 2 months to get his medication because they ran out of the triplex paper that Texas requires it to be printed on. He became immune to the meds and she(Lindsay) agreed to change them. They caused him to have two extreme depression episodes so Dr. Newton said she didn't feel comfortable changing his meds again so she completely took him off of them. Now he is failing school( he has not had his meds since the middle of last year) and I cannot get him to a psychiatrist to get his meds started back up. I went to the office not too long ago for an appointment and I specifically told them that I did not want to see Dr. Newton and who shows up and needs a room none other than Dr. Newton. I tried to explain to her to the psychiatrist she's hitting me to wanted me to pay out of pocket $120 a week to get my son seen. She said that was impossible. I even showed her the reviews from this doctor where other patients have said the same thing, that he saw their kid for five minutes and sent them to his associate next door. I will not be returning to this clinic. As a physician if you did not feel comfortable prescribing him then send me to a PCP who does."

"Usually I like my visits here, staffs r friends. But last time I waited so long! Took 2 hours for my so ‘s One year old check up, 95% time waiting time! It was unbelievable! And some of the nurses are not professional! They put a bandie above where the shut was, my baby’s pants got blooded. And they can’t find his blood vessel in his arm, still needled him n pocking him for a min! He was screaming n screaming! My poor baby! Can’t believe how bad their nurses are!"

"I am a foster mom and have been to another Cooks Children's location that was over-crowded, had unfriendly staff and LONG waits. However that is NOT the case here. I HIGHLY recommend this location and LOVE the office staff. Every time we come in, the office is clean and bright and feels fresh and cool (A/C is the perfect temp!). EVERY receptionist always greets us with a huge smile and remembers us. The wait is always short. It's never crowded. I may have seen 2 families waiting total but it's never been over crowded. The nurse is consistent - in the last 6 months we've seen the same 2 depending on which day we go. And our Dr is amazing! We see Dr. Newton and love her. When I've needed a prescription for diaper rash they were able to order it without me having to come in - AMAZING!! We drive 20 minutes but it is SO worth it."

"I made my appointment 2 months in advance! The address I was given was to the Medical Center. I got to my appointment 3 minutes late, my appointment was at 1:15, I got there at 1:18, because the reception at the hospital sent me to a different building, to be told it was at the Innovation Clinic. Again, I was 3 minutes late. Standing there with reception putting in my information, the Dr says I am passed my grace period and would have to reschedule. Reception told her we were new patients, and she said "oh well" this wasn't happening today. Dr. Newton even came to reception and said it right in front of me, couldn't even acknowledge me or apologize. Very rude and condescending. After waiting 2+ months, and my son being sick during this time, rescheduling was NOT an option, but the Dr moved on to other patients. Needless to say, I am taking my children back to a Dr in my hometown an hour away. My son has been miserable and I have tried to get him in sooner with no luck! I have GREAT insurance, so it's not a Medicaid issue! Plenty of Dr's seem to act as if anyone with Medicaid are a disease! The only reason they got 1 star is because I can't go any lower!"
