"We've been going here for nearly 7 years and have usually been really pleased with the service, but this month has been an absolute nightmare with them. We saw the Nurse Practitioner, Lacy, and she was very dismissive of concerns i had about my daughter. She had a high heart rate, low blood pressure, wouldn't eat or drink, and was definitely really ill. I was quickly handed a prescription despite pressing about concerns I had about her being dehydrated or worse. Long story short, we ended up in the ER less than an hour after leaving her office, and not because it was advised by the nurse. My daughter was immediately put on a sepsis alert and the nurses were very concerned about her condition in the ER. I hate to think what would have happened had I not ignored the doctor and listened to my mom instincts and taken her in. And they refuse to accept responsibility for what happened and retract the bill for the useless office visit I had. This experience has me looking for a new doctor and I strongly suggest you do the same if you care about your child's health."

"Dr. Charette has been my kids pediatrician since my oldest was about 4, she’s 15 now. She is the best!! She is a mother herself so she completely understands our concerns as parents. She has such a calm and sweet personality. Never once have I felt awkward with her. She is so great with kids that I’ve never had a problem with my kids being afraid of the doctor. I love that the lobby has a space for sick kids and healthy kids. Even during the pandemic they had a plan in place and they followed through with it. Another thing I love about this place is that you always see your kids pediatrician with physicals. My kids are very active and love the outdoors so they have a pretty good immune system. For this reason I can go an entire year before taking them to the doctor. In the rare occasion when one of my kids does get sick or needs to see a doctor I can attest that every doctor we have met at this office is great. Even the nurse practitioners. My only complaint is that I wish they had more activities for kids in the lobby. It is a pediatrician office by the way. Another thing I love is that they have an app where I can see test results, future appointments, update our information, growth charts, pay bills..... you can also message the doctor directly and get a response for non emergency concerns. This is very helpful during the pandemic avoiding unnecessary visits to the doctor."

"This office is absolutely amazing! The front office staff is friendly and helpful and diligent with calls as well as insurance help. The medical assistants and nurses are wonderful with kids (and parents). The Doctors and PA genuinely care- and want the best for your kiddo are great about talking through concerns with kid’s health as well as mental health and daily activities. My kids adore this office and I am blessed to have them partner with me as a parent."

"Great Office. Whether my son has an appointment with the Dr or the Nurse its always quick and easy. The front office people are great also. I have never had any issues setting up appointments or getting the info I need in a timely manner. No Idea why others here commenting had issues?"

"We LOVE Cooks Magnolia and Dr. Powderly!!!!!!!! The office staff is wonderful and the clinic bright and clean. Dr. Powderly is so knowledgeable and patient with my daughter. She lets her touch the instruments so that they aren’t as scary when she uses them on her. My mom passed away when I was pregnant and so I really needed a place that was supportive and provided sound advice on a variety of “first time mom” subjects and they provided that for me! They are also so responsive to questions both by phone on the “my chart” app! I am so grateful for this place!"
