"Amanda the property manager is amazing. She is the sweetest and so relatable. I put in some work orders and they were not done as needed. I went to the office and sat down with Amanda and she was at my door the next day doing a walk through to fix everything that I had issues with. The following day I had two different maintenance guys here completing all my work orders. I have no complaints. The maintenance guys are amazing as well. They always come right in and get the job done!"

"NEGATIVE STARS. Moved in June 2023. It’s a beautiful apt complex and we got in quick and easy. Love at first sight right? It was too good to be true unfortunately. Right off the bat, no working ac. Thermostat didn’t work. Clogged drains in the bathrooms and mold in the sink that was not draining either. Now the thermostat is the big issue. the smaller ones, we had maintenance come but never fixed the actual issues so we have to fix every month pretty much. For example we have to use drano every month because things are just painted over. Maintenance is silent when coming and “fixing” things. EXCEPT FOR ANDREW! HE IS THE BEST ONE HERE AND SHOULD MAKE MORE MONEY WORKING HERE. He is so kind and GREAT at explaining us things we had questions for. I’ve emailed. I’ve complained. I’ve talked to all the workers in the office. Nothing has changed. Every month the ac/heating is NOT WORKING. Or controlled by us. We get a couple weeks at most of ac when is warm outside then it’s back to just having the windows open for circulation. One time we got a ac window unit but it only does ac so we can use it for most of the year when it’s cold. It’s the 2nd day of 2024, and 50 degrees outside and 62 in my apt. Management is always to busy to talk to me and nothing has changed since we moved in. Don’t be fooled by all the nice things this place has to offer. The office and maintenance are probably just as stressed as the residents trying to keep a cheap complex running. Buildings look different and have different doors and balcony rails and is just a mess of a place to try to manage. I pay $1,888 for a 2bd 2b. It’s not worth it."

"I will start by saying the new management here is a great game changer. For me personally Amanda the property manager and Gina the assistant were absolutely amazing to work with. Their consideration for my personal needs as well as their professionalism made my whole leasing experience here at Sorrento amazing. The apartments are beautiful, the community is very kind, the location is very well kept and clean, and they are very quick to respond to any matters regarding maintenance/apartment needs. If you are considering moving here, I strongly recommend you speak with Amanda or Gina! Because of them I will be renewing my lease here for another term. I noticed some other negative reviews, I have no idea why or where they came from but do not let that stop you from stopping by and speaking to these very kind ladies, they are willing to go far and beyond to ensure you are happy with your new home."

"I don’t hate it here by any means, but service requests are so difficult to get addressed. Overall, this apartment NEEDS more maintenance staff for how large of a complex this is. I had to stay with a family member for days because my apartment reached 88° over the summer, but no one came same day to fix it. Now, it’s 55° in my apartment and they’re too backed up to fix it today. To top it off, my smoke detector is beeping and I don’t have a ladder tall enough to reach it because of my tall, vaulted ceilings. There’s no way I can sleep in my own home tonight due to the beeping. Office staff said it would be fixed same day, but it’s not happening. Update: It took 3 days to address the beeping and 5 days to address the heater. I had to stay with a family member again. Just unfortunate."

"We just moved from Sorrento, primarily because of location (work commute) after living there for 1 year. The management changed about halfway through our lease, and I will say that was definitely for the better. The new management and office staff is great. However, I do have my gripes with this complex. Water is paid through the apartments, and always seemed to be very expensive. Parking was hit or miss, and the amenities were so so. Our unit specifically was on the smaller side (tight kitchen, 2nd “bedroom” doesn’t have closet) but nice. Cute built in bookshelves all over. All in all, it was an average apartment. I don’t think any apartment is perfect, you just have to pick your battles."
