"Horrible place, they have out of date signs up on purpose to scam people into getting towed. Disgusting people manage these, beware of scam artists, be careful where you park they will do their best to trick you"
"Stay away! The people in charge of the apartments will not and do not care about any issues you may have with roommates or anything else for that matter. They form cliques and play favorites. If you are an outsider (someone not from Texas), they will treat you as such. It is a waste of time to live here, and unless you are a loud, selfish, and manipulative child ready to lie to get your way, you will hate it here. I regret living here and I regret moving to Texas. Everyone here is selfish and for themselves and their own interests. Also, the halways are always disgusting, the rooms have bugs, especially spiders, their package delivery system is inconvenient, and people are constantly loud in the parking lot, especially on holidays. I once got only 4 hours of sleep because of it. Just find a place to yourself and look elsewhere. If you are desperate like I was, just be prepared to hate your life for a year or more."
"Oh the El Pato looking Apartments. Would give no stars if I could. Management even put fake reviews here to help counter people knowing that this place is a hole in the wall. I had a rat in my complex and they said they couldn’t do anything about it cause they couldn’t see it. My friend who also stays there has rats and all they did was put cheap mouse traps. Management does some shady stuff and will not reply to emails about electricity bill being overcharged when it’s renting season and many dissatisfied people are leaving. Don’t expect your dishwasher to work mine was working then broke down and they gave up on fixing it and left it filled with water and mold. Hallways are basically a spiders territory. Also they are contracted with a shady terrible towing company 25 minutes away and will give no warning if you will be towed. The tow company is full of weirdos who literally stalk who comes in and out. Internet goes out here pretty commonly. Pool gets cleaned very very rarely after move in dates. They also have their fire alarms go out through out the whole building at 10am and 3am waking everyone up on a random day every couple months. Glad I left this place so many better options out there."
"NEVER LIVE HERE! When we first moved in the apartment was very dirty and carpet was old and moldy. No matter how much you complain they will not fix it and at the end they will just charge you. We never even opened our dishwasher because it was disgusting and they are now trying to charge us to fix it. The wifi is not good at all, everything broke about 5 times, and management does not care after they get you to sign. Pool was never open and gym machines were never working. Only decent thing is the office they walk you through to get you to sign."
"Out of my time in this apartment complex, it has been nothing but downhill since moving in. I have many complaints from my stay, but I think the biggest issue that I came across was when my apartment was affected by Hurricane Hanna. I left for this duration, about a week, and when I returned our apartment was heavily affected to the point where conditions were unlivable (attached images below). Additionally, when I returned, the front door was unlocked. Let me repeat that again THE FRONT DOOR WAS UNLOCKED, meaning anyone had access to our apartment. Upon contacting maintenance this issue, they attempted to solve this issue with cleaning the carpet and scrubbing the walls. Although, with the extent of this problem, that will not solve the issue and will require the carpet to be replaced as well as the other side of the dry wall to be cleaned. Because I did not want to live in this condition, I contacted the front desk to request a spare apartment in which they denied. Frustrated with this issue, and nowhere else to 'live', I argued to transfer to a different apartment. At first they denied that 'they had no other apartment', and with threatening legal actions they eventually gave into giving me an apartment. I have much, MUCH more to say, but to keep things short, I have attached bullet points of all the problems I have come across during my stay here. -**FRONT DOOR LEFT UNLOCKED BY STAFF** -improper lease payment (charging more than documented) -improper management of water damages -denied initial request to move, had to threaten legal actions to be approved -told they would 'clean' the carpet, when the whole carpet needed replacement due to heavy water damage -told maintenance would 'scrub' the walls of mold, while the entire walls thorough cleaning as the damages were severe -outdoor lighting not working -gate not working -improper covid guidelines -hosted party by pool with large crowd -loud neighbors, heavy music -charged for parking sticker replacement, despite being in car wreck (with proof) look, I don't consider myself a 'Karen' that complains at every nitpick. I stay fairly reserved and mind my business, but at some point I have to draw the line. I payed about ~450 a month, as a college student, and throughout almost my entire stay it was always something frustrating. Even the basics like having functional parking lights was not prioritized. Note: I don NOT blame the staff for the problems here. They are hard working, and I am thankful for them working with me. However, the real problem stems with the higher ups, that seem to not understand the problems they are creating with tying up the power of the manager here."
