"This is what they mean by updated . The ceiling fell in almost every apartment on the top floor of the office building front and back side and they left mold inside of tenants units I came home on 1/16/24 and my apartment had no pending work orders , my bathroom had been dug through my kitchen and bathroom lights were on. 1/18/24 Updated review: Joel enters the property of tenants without a proper work order notice and Amber Bateman allows him to enter units without tenant consent. The property has a history of break ins and the office owners are scammers. They do not disclose this information to new renters but we are being stalked on the upstair attic for more than six years I've lived here by either maintenance or another tenant and they do not care that people are accessing the attic. This has cost me and other renters thousands of dollars in damages, and late fees Most recently the property manager constantly charges late fees, has updated every unit around me. Won't fix anything in my unit after I've lived here for almost six years. Continues to up the rent on a one bedroom that you can't even sleep in the bedroom because they Don't allow AC units unless you purchase an extra one. My rent has went from 500$ to almost 675$ and everything I my unit appliance wise is from 1997.i put a deposit of 400$ on an apartment that has had extreme maintenance issues. Ceilings collapsing, moldy tile, moldy carpet all due to a lack of preventative maintenance walkthroughs. And I will never see my deposit because they spent it on a marble slab propane grill that nobody can even use we can't afford to eat"
"Like the saying goes, 'All money isn't good money.' Now I am going to change that. All apartments aren't good apartments. I moved in July of this year. 2 weeks into moving in, I'm starting to hear someone walking around in the attic. Since then, I have been reporting this to management but nothing has happened. Whom ever is accessing this attic in the first building where office is located still follows me around my apartment. I've called the Lubbock police but again, disappointment every time. Maintenance was able to seal the opening but yet again, I go out of town for a few days and came back to find the attic door torn off and the closet light broken. (Deep sigh). No one should have to live with this stupidity. I'm in the process of moving elsewhere. Now the only thing management says for me to do! Pay an additional $200, to transfer in a different unit with an additional $50 extra rent. I Wish they gave a Zero for ratings, cause giving the 1 star hurts me. THIS IS A NEW WORLD WE ARE LIVING IN. IT'S BASICALLY CALLED 'HELL.'"
"I would give them a 1 due to the overall experience. I filled out an application via Turbo Tenant and was then advised to fill out another application. After I filled out the second application, they requested a copy of my social security card. I’ve never been asked to provide my social security card. I provided my social security on both applications and didn’t feel comfortable sending a copy of my card. I decided not to move further with the application process and I was advised that they weren’t asking anything that wasn’t “standard”. Nothing was mentioned anywhere that I had to provide a social security card. I’ve filled out other applications with other companies and I didn’t have to fill out more than one application furthermore, I didn’t need to provide my social security card to get approved. Apply at your own risk!"
