"My best friend bought tickets to surprise me when I came to visit from Montana. After she told me about it I looked up the reviews and I found the one from PETA. I wanted to cancel our trip after I read what PETA said. In no way it is it accurate. That place is beautiful, the grounds are spotless and the handlers are kind and friendly. Their "performance" was not forced on any of the 3 ladies. We got to help bathing, petting and fed them. Yes, thru stood there so we could snap photos. They were NOT drugged, there were No chain marks or scars on them. They were calm and friendly. There are giraffes, zebra, large tortoises, birds and other animals there. The grounds were immaculate! Not a fly on the place, no animal drippings or droppings. There is always someone cleaning, raking. I'm sorry to say that PETA is completely off on this one. They have 57 acres to wander if they choose, daily bathing, grooming, foot care, treats. If I were an elephant I'd rather be there. Yes in a perfect world they would be in their native land, but it's not a perfect world. Here they are protected, not hunted down for ivory or trophy hunting. The 3 "ladies" were in the last best place for them. If you are ever in the area, (I came from Montana), do yourself a favor, purchase a ticket, go see for yourself. Talk with the trainers, talk to the elephants, bathe and interact with them. If you have time sign up for an interactive adventure with more of the Animal species there. I still, 1 month later, can't believe how spotless everything is. The bathrooms, grounds, EVERYTHING! IT'S MONEY YOU WILL NOT REGRET SPENDING. I'm sorry PETA, you are way off on this one. "One of a kind experience. Got to feed and bathe an elephant, feed camels, get to hold multiple baby goats and meet an energetic zebra. The staff was incredible knowledgeable and answered the millions of questions I had. If you get a chance to go here, I highly suggest you book in advance. I believe they only take 30 spots each Saturday."

"What a wonderful experience! I was so excited to go and I was not disappointed. Staff were all so friendly and accommodating. They made sure that everyone got to experience the elephants and other animals. It is a phenomenal up close encounter with these amazing animals.
