Reviews
"A fascinating house with an overwhelming number of collectibles, including many about Napoleon. Staff was very knowledgeable about the house and many items inside. It was made even better talking with two ladies from Chicago and a daughter from CA who was also into historical homes."
"This museum is one of 27 National Trust historic sites in the US. It's a beautiful museum and has festive Christmas decor in December. Loved hearing and reading about the history of the home, the previous owners, and the amazing collection of Napoleon artifacts. Enter and pay at coach house on the back right of the property. Restroom and complimentary lockers for bags. The tour is self guided but the museum employee in the house is available to answer questions. She was very knowledgeable and answered all our of weird specific queries. Don't miss the bronze cast of Napoleon's death mask. Well worth the $10 entrance fee!"
"Great place to visit rich in history. Sarah and Dough, tour guides, are fantastic! How many lions can you find???"
"Lovely historic home in a beautiful area. This is a great place to visit for fans of architecture, antiques, and local history."
"Toured this home on a Tuesday, early in the afternoon. Admission fee was reasonable, and the workers operating the home were very attentive and knowledgeable. Each room has an information board with historical tidbits on different artifacts and how the rooms were used throughout its history. I only gave it one star since the other historical home is only open on Saturdays. Nonetheless, it was time worth spent."
