"Great park for running or walking! Beautiful scenery (and mostly shaded!) if you’re using it as a starting point for a run."
"One of the best places to walk, jog, or run in San Antonio. It's safer because there are about 5 soccer fields around the trail. Assault and vehicle burglaries are unheard of because of all the people utilizing the trail and the soccer players on the soccer fields. When the sun goes down, the soccer fields lights come on and also light up the trail. There are no trees on the trail or soccer fields. However there is a forest of trees surrounding the area making it cooler than most places in San Antonio. The trees in the area helps to avoid direct sunlight in the morning and late in the evening. There's plenty of parking spaces and a portapotty near by."
"Great for strollers and young children. It is Very short and all paved."
"Beautiful neighborhood park with trail, creeks, bridges, large oak trees, restrooms, picnic tables, and soccer fields."
"This at the Alamo Bark Park. Love bringing my kids here, my friends and their friends are here to visit and have a great time relaxing or in the dogs cases running and having fun. Its owned by dog owners and not the city of Alamo Heights so donations are welcome as well as volunteers."
