Reviews of Allergy and Asthma Clinic of Central Texas
"The doctors here really put in the effort to find the problem I was having. Very grateful."
"Not sure about all the bad reviews. Been going here awhile and never had a problem. I like that this place has different hours different days because you're sure to find a time to drop by for a shot that works for you. Docs know their stuff and it's easy to make an appt with NP. Shots never take long - and that's the key."
"Overall bad experience. Poor communication over multiple issues led to the decision to quit services with them altogether. It did not seem like management really cared about my well being. They failed to explain my options as a patient which led to charges and time lost that was never explained to me in the beginning. The only positive is that Dr. Miller is super patient and thorough when you actually have an appointment with him. It’s the management team that’s the problem."
"I like the my female doc , easy to ralk to and understand, she listened and took action when needed, mostly each visit I needed something and my doc was able to help and happy to be able to have support for my health problems, the staff are nice and polite, had apt one time with staff in training, my apt took over hr 1,1/2 now I waited longer than anything in the waiting area for 30 min to be seen to be taken back .,"
"I liked Dr. Henry and office staff, but I had such an unprofessional interaction with his assistant here, I decided to find another practice. I had blood work done and called the office on July 13 to confirm they received my faxed results and to discuss what next steps would be in order to schedule another appointment or additional tests. The office confirmed they received my results and that Dr. Henry would call me shortly to discuss. He called just a few minutes later and was very kind. He said he happened to be at the front and heard me calling, and though he hadn’t had time to review my chart and symptoms, he didn’t want to leave me waiting and worried. We very briefly talked about the test results, but not in relation to all of my symptoms or about what I should do next. He said he would review my chart and call me to discuss in more detail and actual next steps the following week. I waited and didn’t get a return call, which wasn’t an issue. I didn’t mind following up. I called back on August 1 and left a message. I didn’t get a return, so I called again today. The office answered and said Dr. Henry would call me soon. Then they immediately called back and said his assistant actually wanted to talk to me. She was so incredibly rude and told me I was lying about Dr. Henry saying he would call me back. She said I already talked to him. I told her that was true, but we never talked about what to do next and that he had needed to review my chart fully. She said that “would never happen.” Why would I lie about this? What would I even have to gain? I’m just trying to get information based on test results to schedule the next appropriate visit or test. Why not just ask the doctor what we talked about and if I was expecting a return call? Instead, she just tells me I need to schedule another generic consultation in office or a teledoc visit. When I agreed to a teledoc visit, but told her I felt it was really inappropriate and unprofessional to accuse me of lying, she responded, “Yeah, ok”.” After that response, I told her I would just rather find another practice. Again, her response is, “Ok.” This hostile interaction was so unprovoked and unnecessary. I didn’t call with an attitude. I was just trying to get guidance on next steps based on my latest test results. That could’ve come from speaking with the doctor directly or a message through his assistant or front office staff."
