Lone Star Circle of Care OB/GYN at Round Rock

"My girl came here for a prenatal visit and the ladies up front were very rude not only to her, but also to other ladies! They were talking bad about this lady who was a bit late in English and talking to her in Spanish. Then on the phone they had told my girl that she could use my ID because she doesn't have hers yet and they were being very rude about it! Then we go on to have our ultrasound, which our OB is amazing! He's very kind! But when she went to get her blood taken, the lady was rude to her as soon as she walked in the door. Then she goes to shove the needle in her arm and be very disrespectful speaking to her with a rude tone. I do not recommend coming here, especially for prenatal visits! They are very rude and careless! I will be switching to North Austin if we have one more bad experience here. Y'all need to keep y'all's prenatal staff in check. Women don't come here to be disrespected!"

"The front desk lady was very disrespectful from the moment I walked in and so was the lady taking my blood. These women don't know respect and it's very disappointing. This is my first pregnancy and the experience was ruined for me due to these ladies acting so careless and disrespectful. If it continues, I'm gonna have to switch to the Austin area."

"I was a new patient and couldn't remember the location i was supposed to go to. So i called the number on the website and was still on hold waiting on someone to answer when i got to the office an hour later (i just went to the closest location to me). When i got there and told them, no one seemed to care. I felt shuffled around and treated like an inconvenience. I also realized the window and blinds were open to the outside when i was changing back into my clothes. I didn't see a single person smile the entire time i was there. As someone in branding and marketing, this is not how clients, especially new clients, should be treated. I will be finding another dr asap and resent that i had to wait over two months for such a miserable appointment."

"I had to stop coming here, they forgot or choose to not tell me something important in my health that I had to find out at another clinic (peoples community clinic) it would’ve progressed if I didn’t take pills, and they got my due date wrong. And to top it off left me waiting for half and hour on the room dr comes in all rushed, said she was gon have to do my glucose exam next visit but had said she would do it on that visit. The only think she did was check my belly and set me off. I do not recommend no one to come here. Staff is really nice, welcoming but come on now due to personal reason I will not say what I had. It could’ve progressed."

"My community entirely hasn’t had a good history with Doctors. A lot of the elders shy away from going to hospitals/Dr. Appointments. Physicians had an ideology. African can withstand more pain than any other race! I had surgery at St. David’s RR where my nurse went two days without providing pain meds. It was until I had a night nurse whom was African who listened to my cries. I was instructed to follow up with Beth Thai for my follow up. Not to my surprise!!! The same thing happened with her. I literally had 2 surgeries at once. I’m looking within her eyes, and all I truly seen was hate and dismissal!!! My husband has missed weeks of work just to take care of me, and literally no one has listened to me. She told me to go to the ER but yet she was the one whom did my surgery. I hate to say it but racism still exists. If you are a minority of African descent, do yourself a favor and avoid Lone star circle of care and St. David’s RR. I have transferred my records else where, and I will be following up with a Dr who cares for their payments and doesn’t pass judgment due to the color of their skin!!!!"
