"I live here currently, and it’s an absolute nightmare. From the first day we moved in, I found a tick crawling on my son. I immediately trapped it with tape and took it to the main office to show them, and they said they would put us in the list of emergency pest spray. They also said when we signed the lease that there would be monthly pest control services spray the apartment. Not once did we have anyone come to spray, not even as an emergency service. Thankfully, we’ve not seen any more ticks. However, the roaches and mice are horrid. I called many times about the issue and they said “we’ll put you on the list for emergency spray”… lmfao what a joke. Aside from the pest issues, the front door doesn’t latch at all so we HAVE to keep it locked or the wind will blow it open. The water damage to the kitchen is disgusting. The refrigerator keeps losing energy, like it stays only cool enough for food to not rot, but nothing can be kept for more than a few days. The back door and all the windows don’t completely seal, so the elements blow in through the spaces. If we had had more time to find another place, this never would have been a choice. It was unfortunate circumstances that landed us here. I don’t even call anymore. And the neighbors just… next door’s kids have literally tried to push their way into my apartment without any form of invitation. And the adults from that side have tried to take my son out of my arms “because he’s pretty”. I do not speak to neighbors for them to think they can act that way. And the walls are sooooooo thin I hear phones vibrate when none of the phones in my apartment are the ones going off. If -0 was a thing, I’d say -0/10 do not recommend Astoria Park."

"This place is really cute inside but the construction was not thought out. With winding stairs inside the homes entry doorway, and the apartment living quarters located upstairs it's difficult to move furniture in or out. There were bugs on the premises as well. Management just bandaids major issues like stair railings, holes in walls, closet rods, drawers, and sinks. Major issues. Has potential just needs more money put into it and a good exterminator regularly for all units."

"I lived here 3 years ago! Many of problems linked to maintenance not doing their job and stealing from the tenants, to the bugs that were in the apartment itself! The complex manages that took over were horrible, lost paperwork to “give 30 day notice” had to sign and give back at least 3 times only had 2 weeks to officially get out. My mom stayed there when I worked and went to school so she could let people in from the complex and they said they ran her credit and charged her and my credits and she didn’t even officially live there because “we left it a mess” well you give someone two weeks to get out and you want to expect! My refrigerator went out and spoiled groceries, asked for a month for help to get a new one and it took them a month and three weeks to replace the refrigerator! Asked if they would refund the groceries that were lost in order for me to pay rent and they said no and laughed, that I should of put an order in when it went out.The explanation was “they were backed up on work orders”. The workers that came and fixed a problem in the bathroom stole an Alexa from my apartment, told me they wouldnt replace any of that, and they wouldn’t take it off my rent because it was my responsibility to put that stuff up! Would never recommend this place to any one, I’m sorry!"

"One of the worst apartments in town, I had a leaking tub into my kitchen, back door broken , no dishwasher the entire time I lived there. They also lied I signed a paper removing my rights from the apartment, they told me I had 2 weeks to get stuff out and that I could not come back. The new tenants had rights to the whole apartment and that included all my deposits, but they also told me that meant I was not responsible for the rest of the lease, or any damages. 3 years later I get charges to my credit and the office doesn’t even have the courage to return many phone calls made by me and my husband. Which is expected because I couldn’t even get anyone to fix anything when I lived there to begin with, they don’t care about their residents. They also don’t care about you as a person."

"My fiance and ger kuds have been with no heat since summer ended. Snow on ground and not expected to stop snowing until tomorrow sometime. Maintenance left at 1:30 pm its 7:30 pm and never been back. Dishwashers been broke 2 years. Pipe busted over 2 yrs ago inside wall, they fixed pipe but not mold infested wall just painted killz over it. As much momey as they charge this place should be nice."
