Red Roof Inn Amarillo West

"If you are travelling from out of town you should know that alot of hotels here make up rules as they go, and this is one of them. Be careful here, the other day they screwed me out of all of the money that I had. Even though their policy charges a deposit for CASH PAYERS, I had already paid online and they tried hitting me with a 100$ deposit. Even tho I just stayed 3 nights there that week (with no hot water the whole time)"

"Horrible place to stay! Room not clean dirty floors dirty coffee maker , water running in Lavatory all night , no wash clothes Front desk won’t answer the phone ! Wouldn’t let us do early check in Lady at front desk by the name of Abby was rude hatful and was very improper on the subject of people paying cash and I quote “ people that pay cash tend to destroy the rooms” Sheets looked horrible tried to call front desk again no answer ! Went to check at 11 am nobody at front desk waited and waited still nobody! THIS PLACE IS A FREAKING DUMP!!!!! The people I did talk with when I checked in was not Friendly at all! Sent an email trying to resolve the issues . No Reply ! Called the main number for the hotel Voice mail came on said they was not taking calls ! WHAT!!!!!! Avoid this place !!!!!!"

"Red Roof Inn in Amarillo West is our favorite Red Roof Inn to stay at so far. The rooms are clean and well laid out. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing! They are kind to pets and that's the number one reason we started staying at Red Roof Inns. We are also members of Hilton but this Red Roof Inn is as good as Hilton, which is saying a lot. We are already planning to stay there in April."

"Cheap price. You get what you pay for. The room seemed clean and nice at first. But the towels were stained, the bedding was stained! It was ridiculous and disgusting! We will never go again. No thanks! Also, the little grass areas were filled with dog poop. This place is gross."

"I wasnt going to leave a negative review if I would have been able to get a refund but the property manager for this hotel did not approve even a partial refund. The lady at the front who checked me in was very kind and this review is not a reflection of her in any way. The first room I was given was not cleaned from the previous guest. The 2nd room I was given was very dirty, and the toilet did not work. The 3rd room I was given was unclean and there was food and crumbs all over the floor that I had to put sheets down to avoid walking on the floor. The room also smelt of food, and was missing the tv remote. I have never had any issues with hotels in my life, even budget friendly hotels like this one. So I am disappointed that the hotel didn’t do anything to make my unpleasant stay right."
