Located at 1812 Buddy Holly Avenue in Lubbock, Texas, the historic Cactus Theater is a premier listening room in West Texas. Since 1938, the theater has been known for showcasing a wide variety of local, national, and international talent in an intimate setting with outstanding sound and lights. Recent enhancements include new seats with cupholders, historic pattern carpet, planter boxes out front, concession stand upgrades, and a new sidewalk connecting to large parking lots at 19th & Texas Ave. Please note that all ticket sales are final, as the theater's ticket system and contractual obligations to performers do not permit exchanges, refunds, or credits for unused tickets. "I love the history and character this theater has. The staff is always kind and respectful. The movies that have been showing lately are fantastic. Really pushing for Cecil B. DeMille's The Ten Commandments! Some Elizabeth Taylor would be cool too. Also, there have been some great music acts coming through this place!"
