"When I first moved in I absolutely loved it but I feel like it’s gone downhill the 2 years I’ve been here. I had kids by my windows constantly being loud ( I understand it’s kids but when it’s everyday that’s ridiculous) and once I confronted them and the office about it was swept under the rug. Also got accused of taking “nude pictures” outside of my apartment when all long it was the neighbor upstairs getting on my porch area. Constantly having wifi problems. One work order I had to my apartment took over 1 month to even get worked on. I understand it’s a apartment complex but come on. Sidewalks are very icy/slick in the winter. No salt or anything on them. Dog poop everywhere, the gate doesn’t even close at night like they told me when I first moved in. Maintenance guy left keys in my door so the door was unlocked for at least 6 hours or so while I was at work. Definitely not safe whatsoever and very unprofessional for my safely being jeopardized. The lady in the office definitely isn't the friendliest. I’m not very happy with my experience thus far."
"when I considered these apartments for my move from Dallas to Amarillo the lady that answered the phone was very kind and helpful . Pet fee is a bit much compared to the 500 for 2 In luxury apartments elsewhere in Amarillo but they seem pretty well kept."
"I lived at Salt Fork for nearly 5 years in a 2 Bed 2 Bath upstairs. The overall experience was good, the gym and pool were nice, the apartment was nice and efficient, the community was quiet, and management was kind and responsive. My only complaint is the landscaping. I know that sounds silly, but the only good grass is at the front. When you get to the back, it is just dirt and weeds EVERYWHERE. No grass. My apartment only had dirt and weeds in front of the door for 5 years, the never fixed the grass. It got old having to walk around everything when it rained because it turned into a mud pit."
"Don't waste your TIME OR MONEY. IF I COULD DO ZERO STARS I WOULD!! We have been in contact with this place for over a month before we were told our move in date. First date Sherry (asst. mgr) told us was for a Thursday. Wednesday comes around and she calls (a day before) to tell us it will not be ready for awhile. Having already packed, switched over Xcel and Suddenlink, and put in a 30 day notice for our old place, we express the extreme inconvenience Sherry just put us through. She agrees that it will be done on the upcoming Saturday and that we could come get the keys and it would be ready after 2. So I do just that. I show up and Sherry acts like we haven't had this conversation. She had us sign a lease the night prior with the promise that the date on the lease was further from the day we were allowed to move in. This lady Sherry would rather fight, argue and continuously not answer any of our direct questions then admit her mistake and keep the tenants happy. These are the two main question we have for you Sherry, if we paid $412 prorated rent to move in on the 14th (like you said) why is that the same amount on the lease for the 21st? If you didn't tell us to come get the keys then why would we show up? Because you, Sherry made a mistake. She would deflect and answer my question with a question. Very frustrating Sherry! You would rather fight to the death than admit your wrongs. I would be walking out the door and Sherry would still be arguing! She knew she was wrong because she would keep calling us, saying we could get in earlier. She called my boyfriend and I individually at least 4 times each after we said we want our money back. Each time she called she would try to sound nicer. We expressed to her that she can't talk to us the way she did an expect us to want to move in. She wouldn't even let me contact the manger directly, but had no problem talking to him on the phone. Again I can't stress this enough. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!"
"I moved there after my divorce as a single mom with 2 kids. I loved the apartment and the atmosphere. They rented me a 2 bedroom on the 2nd floor. About 3 months living there the bottom neighbors had complained so much on my 2 small boys running around that they were threatening to evict me and still force me to pay rent. I begged them for another option since I was a single mom who couldn't afford 2 rent payments and had no where else to go. They agreed to let me move into a bottom floor apartment. I guess I didnt read my lease good enough because when I moved out I was charged over $800 in CLEANING fees and I had 2 weeks to pay for it would be sent to a collection agency. Absolutely no damage other than one of the window blinds. It was all normal cleaning (sweeping, dusting, mopping, and I left 1 bag of trash to be taken out) They charged me $50 to wipe one wall outlet! Long story short hire someone to clean your apartment when moving out and take pictures. And do not move here if you have children. Huge regret now that I was a $1200 account in collections."
