"Best place to take your pet. Awesome experience and awesome atmosphere!!! Dr. Evans is the best. Staff is wonderful in every way."
"I was with a different vet for 10 years and had finally had enough. I gave this place a try and will never go anywhere else. Dr. Evans is amazing and very caring. Office staff is great to work with. They truly care about your pet not just the money as most places do. Thanks For taking such good Care of my babies"
"Yesterday I had to do what no one wants to go to the vet for...putting my dog down. I had not been to this vet in 19 years due to where I lived, but remembered how great they were when I was a teenager. Respectful, understanding, direct, and professional in that southern way. Thank you so very much for being the veterinary professionals you were decades ago. When we decide to get another pet, we will be back."
"The staff is wondering, kind and caring. Doc is funny and knowledgeable, but also his heart is so good. My in laws have used Hwy 6 for so many years and now we do to. Doc doesn’t just care about the animals he also cares about the fur parents. Every time my mother in law goes in he asks her how she is doing since my father in law’s passing. He also does this and gets right to our fur baby’s problems. Love this place."
"I have been bringing my animals to see Doc Evans for sometime now. I have 3 dogs, 2 cats and a horse. Almost 2 years ago now, the day my mom passed away, I went to her house to pick up some papers and take trash out. While outside, I bent down to open the garage and found this baby kitten (with the umbilical cord still attached) it was half dead, cold and wet. It was a ferrell kitten from a cat my mom had been trying to catch for years because she never took care of her babies. I picked the baby up and took it home to start caring for him. When he was almost a year old I started letting him go outside, we live on property, and he ended up getting attacked by a hawk and almost died. He recovered, but several months later he had a lump appear and it was very tender. I took him to Doc Evans, and did not have a lot of money to spend, instead of Doc Evans running tons of test and charging me lots of $$$$, he put him on some antibiotics because it could have been from his hawk attack. Doc Evans told me to watch him carefully and if he got worse or if I had any questions he would see him again with out charge. He knew this kitten meant a lot to me because I found him the day my mom died and I felt it was a connection to her. About 10 days after the antibiotics, he was not better and I took him back to see Doc Evans. Doc Evans felt the lump again and said it could be cancer because of how it felt and it had grown, He said it would be very rare with such a young cat but was a great possibility. Again, instead of running up cost for me, running tons of test, he offered to do a reduced cost surgery and just go in and remove the lump and if it looked like cancer I could pay then to send if off to see for sure. I opted to have him remove the lump and not send it off for testing because Doc Evans said it was big and bad looking but did not appear to look like a cancer tumor. My cat is doing great now, very healthy and happy, no more lump or soreness. I trusted Doc Evans and greatly appreciate his compassion and his expertise. He wants to make animals well and he is very caring, compassionate and considerate of others and their financial situation. We all love our fur babies and it is a great thing when someone cares enough to work with you on what you can afford in order to keep them healthy. Just like with medical doctors, they do not always have all the answers and you must trust them to do their job and pray. I once had a wise vet tell me, there is nothing that God cannot cure, we do our best and let God take it from there. Thank you Doc Evans for all you do!"
