"My name is Clark and my wife is high risk. She's 32 weeks. She had an appointment but they turned her away because she had our two toddlers. She'd been holding her bladder before appointment so they can get Good ultrasound and check her urine. So instead letting her at least relieve herself they told her she couldn't even use the restroom. They don't have a public bathroom. The rest of the women's and children's hospital facilities allow all her to bring the children and lifted restrictions. So unprofessional and very infuriating that they would do this. That is really inhumane and unbelievable SMH..."
"I have been a patient at this location for several years. I used to love it which is why I'm giving them two stars - they're close to home, the doctors and NPs are knowledgeable and nice. Dr. Simms is wonderful. However, the administrative issues are just too much and I'm seriously considering starting all over with a new practice (anyone who has to go to an ob/gyn knows how much of a nightmare that itself is). No one answers the phone when you call. I've been on hold for 20-30 minutes, and then the line just disconnects. I've left messages multiple times over several days, and no one calls back. When I finally did get in contact with someone after calling and calling, they couldn't answer my question regarding my next appointment and said that the clinic staff "would get back" to me later. The call back from the nurse comes from an Unknown-Spam Likely number so if you miss it, you have to go through the ENTIRE process again by calling the main number. If I had to guess, Texas Children's has outsourced administrative staff to a small number of contractors so that no one on site actually gets to answer the phone. "Cost-saving" measures like these only hurt their patients, because we become so frustrated with the long wait times and talking to people who don't understand what we need, that we want to give up and leave altogether. I can't even imagine going through a pregnancy with this office, knowing that it's nearly impossible to speak to staff or schedule appointments. I hope somehow the hospital administrators see this and many other similar reviews and do something about it."
"My usual ob/gyn works out of the Main St. location and I've had nothing but great experiences there, but I've had to see a different doctor at the Pearland location here recently. My experience with the doctor at this location has been good; however, it is nearly impossible to get someone to answer the phone when I call. The wait times are astronomical. I've tried on multiple days, usually hanging up before someone answers, because there is life beyond sitting on hold. I called again today and waited 22 MINUTES before someone picked up the call. My question was answered in less than one minute. Very frustrating!"
"Let me start by saying It was Worst experience with ob gyn office by far. It took multiple attempts to get someone on the phone no one answered so I gave up, also didn't get a (call) regarding my results like I wanted, it was better for the doctor to message me I guess; it took 72 hours for the doctor to inform me of my results when it supposed to be 48 hours according to the nurse. The nurse that checked me in was rude and kind of seemed as if she was in a rush to. The clinic didn't seem very friendly. I will no longer be going for future visits."
