"Had an at home sleep study. Whole process was nasty. Nurse giving demonstration of equipment was unkept with dirty clothes and poor hygiene. Equipment was not cleaned from previous use: inside of case holding equipment was dirty, oxygen monitor was filthy, and electric recorder was banged up and dirty as well. Do not recommend the office or equipment."
"Staff was amazing, had my first visit yesterday and found Dr. Ostransky to be very dismissive and un concerned with anything I had to say. He was more interested in getting what he had to say out. Felt very much like I was an annoyance."
"I have been attempting to reach them to schedule an appointment since July. Nobody is answering the phone, and none of my calls are being returned. Unlike one review I saw here, I'm not surprised to see so many poor reviews based on my experience. If they don't want my business, I'm sure that there are other centers who do the same studies that I can go to."
"Honestly I’m surprised to see so many bad reviews. My experience with Doctor O has always been pleasant. He’s obviously been doing this a while and knows what he’s doing, when he first saw me he was pretty sure of what I had, he ordered an at home sleep study while explicitly saying it was probably gonna show up with nothing and it was just to appease insurance, then when that went exactly as predicted, he ordered an overnight and daytime sleep study that we didn’t have to argue with insurance over because he’d already done the at home one and proven I needed the more complex one. Then when I got my diagnosis like he’d suspected, the insurance tried to reject the medication because I have IHS, it’s super rare and therefore wasn’t listed as something the med treats. He immediately fought them on it and got it approved. Aside from knowing what he’s doing, he’s always been nice and so have his staff. They were very nice when I did my sleep study and helped me feel comfortable. Scheduling does take a while but it’s because he knows what he’s doing and has a lot of patients to see. His staff also knows how to schedule around the insurance, aka they have you scheduled the sleep study as soon as he prescribes it instead of making you wait for the insurance approval because they know insurance will take a bit and they want you to have the soonest appointment you’re able to."
"My initial visits to the clinic for getting a sleep study done were great. Everyone was pretty courteous and explained the at-home study procedure well. Since then, my experience has soured. I have tried to contact the clinic multiple times over multiple days regarding getting a prescription for a CPAP machine based on the results of that study, and I have not heard back from anyone. Every time I call the offices I get sent to an answering machine, except for one time when I got an actual employee… who then transferred me to another employee’s voicemail. I have never encountered this lack of professionalism in any medical practice, and would not recommend this clinic."
