"Mesa Springs was my first time I was able to get a little bit of help with my depression. But I had a serious problem with my Cpap machine. I do understand that they had to take my machine out because of the Cords. I asked them that when it is time to put"
"I probably should have waited until my daughter was discharged to give the final review. I will hold it at 2 stars for now and will provide details and a final rating after my daughter is discharged. This has been a rollercoaster ride and lots of disorganization, the only saving grace is the one family therapist so I give it two stars. I placed my daughter here trusting she had the appropriate oversight and recent failure in security has got me worried."
"A very close friend of ours had to go to Mesa Springs due to struggling with suicidal ideation. She said she received excellent care and the staff treated her well. This facility truly put her on a path to healing and we are so grateful for this facility and all of the staff for taking such great care."
"This place has gone way down hill compared to 5years ago. I don’t recommend putting your children in here, they will be under constant chaos. The nurses are great, but the techs and therapist flat out suck. The techs moved my daughter to a different unit twice both times without informing the parent, they didn’t even do the transfer forms correctly and threatened me daughter that they would do the right way next time. This place is a joke. The only reason I gave it one star is because the food is better than the hospital. I wouldn’t recommend even if it was the only option."
"I was here earlier this year and it was by far one of the most traumatic experiences I’ve had. I am still having nightmares. I was told I was just having an assessment and I could leave afterwards. After the assessment, they would not let me leave. I was told since I was already there, I had to stay. I was dragged into the unit and had massive bruises on my arms from where they grabbed me for over a week. I started my period while in the unit and was not given feminine products or clean clothes for three days after I started. The staff consistently got my name wrong. I corrected them several times before I stopped responding when they called me the wrong name. I was told if i didn’t start responding, I would be sent to a different location where I would stay for 6 months or more. During one group, a therapist said most of us in there were just looking for attention. There was a transgender woman in the unit at the same time as me, and most of the staff refused to use her correct name and pronouns. All except for two of the staff members seemed incredibly annoyed to be there. Most of them were rude and cold and made me feel unsafe and uncomfortable in the environment. When it came time for me to leave, my ride was supposed to be there at 5pm. It was nearly 6:30 when I asked if my ride was there yet. I was told he had just gotten there. When I asked him how long he had been there, he said he had been waiting for nearly 2 hours. Upon going home, I learned they never got my insurance correct and it was somehow under the wrong persons name. I have no idea how that could have even happened, and I had to fight with insurance to correct it. I will never suggest Mesa Springs to anyone. It was a horrible experience and I am so incredibly grateful I never have to see anyone from there again. Do not go here."
