"So unfortunately my doctor of many years in not in my network. I live close by so I decided to give Hero a try. I was actually pleasantly surprised. Getting an appointment was easy and the place itself was very clean and welcoming. I met with one of the PAs and I felt like she genuinely cared. I'm glad that I tried this place out. Now this is my first visit so I'll update you all after a few!"

"My 8 yr old son has been getting his medication from them for the last 6 months or so. They recently decided to require monthly $26 drug tests ($312/year) on top of checkups… for my 8 yr old. Lived in California, Utah, and Idaho, and have never been required to do this. We don’t have insurance so this takes a heavy toll on us. I honestly can’t tell if they’re just price gouging or if they don’t want us as their patients…"

"This place is God sent. I’ve talked to dr Rodriguez before and he’s the only doctor who has actually sat down and actively listened to everything I had to tell him and I know he was listening because at the end of all my rambling he was able to identify key points and repeat them back with a plan of care to follow. Ericka Navarro is another God sent I believe she’s a PA I’m not 100% on positions nor do I ask because this lady is so knowledgeable and caring and so amazing. She remembers you personally and is always there for you no matter what time it is (could be close to closing and she will still help you). I will never leave this office. I have felt seen, heard, and cared about here at Hero Family Medicine. There’s another man and I can’t remember his name (I’m bad with names) but I only spoke to him over the phone but he made sure I was taken care of. Called Houston facilities while I was up there to try to find me some care from over there. Unfortunately my insurance didn’t cover but all the hard work was very much appreciated. Ooh and the wait times are like non existent, you sit down for maybe a couple minutes sometimes none and you’re already in the back getting your vitals done and all the charting starts. You can be here half an hour and be seen the entire time you here."

"Oh my! The place is so peaceful, quiet and so clean. I don’t think I’ve ever been treated with so much compassion and respect at any doctors office. Zita at the front desk is very knowledgeable, all their front staff are extremely friendly, caring and so helpful! Nurse Yari is a sweetheart. Dr. Jose Rodriguez was so attentive, he actually and sat with me and listened! Erica Navarro is AMAZING l! Switching all my family. I can’t say enough about my experience. I’m beyond happy I made them this choice."

"By far the best drs office we have ever been too. By far. I don’t wanna sound corny but they have set the example of what the medical system should be like. Imagine spending over an hour at a drs office but actually being consulted that entire hour+. They were so awesome and so helpful and they actually take their time to figure out what you may be dealing with. I love them. I 1000% recommend Hero.
