"The doctor was incompetent and acted as if it was his first day on the job. Not to mention they were running over an hour behind schedule. Overall bad experience. Won't be back."

"I wanted to write this review because most of the reviews here are most than a year old. I had an easy experience with the folks at Coastal Bend Eye center, and perhaps they've gone through some staff changes for the better since the majority of reviews here. I had no problem signing up for an appointment, the staff were courteous when I arrived. I knocked a star off because it was a long wait between my appointment time and actually getting in to see the Optometrist, but once I was in with her, it was a fast, thorough, and easy exam. Also, the long wait time is in line with every doctor's office I've visited in Texas, so maybe it's less a reflection of the office and more a reflection of overworked conditions. Lastly, paying and getting new lens & contacts ordered went as smoothly as possible. In short, they're a fine Optometrist office."

"I tried to make an appointment for my family and cannot make one for both kids at the same time because of a policy. I tried to explain that I live far away and there is no one else that can take them but they wouldn't work with me. One adult to one child policy doesn't work for people who live far away and have to work."

"Incompetent. Made initial appointment and then staff said they didn't have the appointment time the day I took off work to go. I even received confirmation calls for the appointment date. And the usual, "who did you talk to?' When they know who made the appointment because it is logged in the computer. They even had all the insurance info I gave them. Go to a real "Doctor" if you need eye care."
