"A NEW UPDATE! AMC has new sliders that taste amazing! I recommend getting the one that has flavored beer. It really gives you a good Buzz ( side not, I recommend ordering two orders of that particular slider to get that good Buzz ) and makes you feel Really good. It also really helps out when watching a movie. UPDATE! 11/06/2023 Just visit the AMC River Center Mall theater to want an unseen movie theater movie event that was going on and was not disappointed in the surprise movie that I watched. Very inspirational, heartwarming, passionate, Fun loving and very friendly PG-13 movie! Great Location! JUST WOULD LIKE TO MAKE AN UPDATE. NOW THAT AMC MOVIE THEATER IS OPEN. I WOULD LIKE TO HELP AS MANY PEOPLE AS I CAN TO HELP PEOPLE FIND THIS LOCATION. THEY DO VALIDATE PARKING IF YOU'RE GOING TO WATCH A MOVIE, YOU JUST NEED TO ASK.THE AMC IS INSIDE THE SHOPPING MALL & HAS TO LOCATIONS WITH IN THE MALL, ONES CALLED AMC IMAX MOVIE THEATER & THE OTHER IS AMC MOVIE THEATER. YOU MIGHT HAVE TO DO SOME WALKING TO GET TO EITHER LOCATION, BUT IT'S TOTALLY WORTH IT. A LOT OF GREAT ITEMS BETWEEN BOTH LOCATIONS BECAUSE YOU'RE IN A GREAT MALL IN SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS IN DOWNTOWN AREA. I TOOK SOME PICTURES HOPEFULLY YOU GET AN IDEA OF WHERE TO GO. I AM ALSO A MEMBER OF THE AMC A-LIST WHICH BY THE WAY I RECOMMEND GETTING TO GET IN & OUT AS POSSIBLE & GETTING GREAT DISCOUNT ALONG THE WAY. SINCE THINGS ARE REOPENING YOU MIGHT NEED TO ASK THE EMPLOYEES THAT YOU WANT ALCOHOL LIKE BEER & LIQUOR BY THE BAR, BUT OTHER THEN THAT THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY & HELPFUL. HOPEFULLY IN TIME, THINGS WILL BE BACK TO NORMAL & EVERYTHING WILL RUN MORE SMOOTHLY. I FEEL SAFE & COMFORTABLE IN RETURNING TO THE MOVIE THEATER & THANK GOD THAT I CAN SEE SOME OF THE GREATEST MOVIES IN THE AMC IMAX LIKE GODZILLA VS KONG. "Don't do it. There are plenty of nice theaters in San Antonio I would avoid this one. Especially for it to be a "premier theater" There was no issue w/ a crowded theater but this theater is lack luster and unkept. The seats are standard auditorium style seats, the arm rest don't move,the seats don't move and everything needs to be wiped down and cleaned. The bar area is the only thing that looks attended to.This was our first time attending this theater.We were the first ones to enter auditorium 11 and when we walked in there were left behind food and drinks in various locations."

"The review is for the imax portion of the theater. When you walk in, it smells like it hasn’t been cleaned since it opened in the 90s. In the theater (theater 10), the smell was better, but shortly after sitting down, we saw a rat run down the aisle. The seats were also worn out and fairly uncomfortable. When the movie was supposed to start, we saw a Windows XP desktop instead of the movie. After one of the patrons notified the employees, they started the movie. Our movie wasn’t filmed with imax cameras, so it didn’t fill the screen, though it was certainly bigger than at a regular theater. The sound quality was also good. When we left, no employees were seen and the exit was blocked, so we had to squeeze between barriers."

"If you ever get a chance to get front row seats inside the imax theater it’s worth a shot it’s also a place to see imax film in 70 millimeter the food can be good I definitely like nachos but going as a group is probably the best way to experience imax and not being alone"

"They remodeled it really nice! I like how you can just choose your own drink and do it yourself cause there's a lot of options! The new layout is actually done really well! I like the whole "feel". I actually really like the theater too! You can lay back all the way on the seats, which is pretty sweet! I Will go back again! Friendly staff and the bathrooms were done great as well."
