"First of all there was no alcohol when we went and they were out of almost everything in the concession stand. For how expensive this place is, they do not cater to their customers much. The new slides which are smaller than the old ones have a height requirement. The lifeguard was straight up rude to our 6 year olds and had them both in tears over it. The kids still had a blast, but we will probably make this a once a year visit instead of several times."

"I get it, this place is old. I wanted to revisit one of my favorite places as a kid. I did not expect the place to look so rundown. I honestly thought that they would keep it looking fresh and clean. The walking areas need to be redone and what’s with the pirate statues that need to be repainted? That was pretty sad to see ☹️ probably won’t go back due to the cost, they want way more money than it is worth. Find the nearest Hawaiian Falls… the price is the same but a lot cleaner, and more up to date."

"This place is super cute and it's a lot of fun. Every part stays packed but it's manageable. The new slides and the old are fun and the river fun to float and the basic snacks and sweets you buy are standard and usually have a line like you'd expect since you can't bring on your own food. There are very few shaded areas to sit in so bring a sunbrella you can set up. My only issue is the concrete - not only is incredibly hot (wear water shoes) but in many places all over the park it's broken down, some crumbling, others work down so smoothly you slip. As I exited the wave pool, one edge was so smooth and so slippery a lady fell in front of me and narrowly missed cracking her head open on the step's edge had I and her kid not caught her. Given there's alcohol available (bring cash to tip, they don't do that for their barkeeps) and a lot of kids the concrete needs work. I did wind up with a friction burn from the older slides you need to use mats on. Make sure your legs and arms are up to avoid it. Overall it's great! Worth spending hours out, having a filling meal before hand and saving up for a couple drinks. It's not a cheap entry."

"I been waiting to leave a review for this place because I was a little iffy… I’m a water park fanatic I go to water parks all over Texas. But I must say the owner of this place has worked really hard to get this place up and better than before. I can tell the owner takes pride because each time I have been here he is here walking around talking to everyone. The water is clean the pools are clean and the atmosphere is very comfortable. Thank you for bringing this water park back to safe and fun for the family"
