"This store seems to aim towards unsuspecting financially disadvantaged customers. My family has visited this store before, and for the items we had purchased, the price seemed way too expensive for what we payed for. We had asked once to the cashier, "If I come back tomorrow, should I expect the price of this item to remain the same as today?" In which they replied, "I cannot tell you." I bought recently 2 bags on popcorn, in which they were clearly labeled "2 for $1.50!" And these few I've cream items. The ice cream sandwich is labeled $0.35 and for the rest, there were no price labels. This "convenience" store does not have price tags on nearly all of their products. The only products that have price tags must have them clearly printed on them. It is clear that when a store doesn't place price tags on their items, they clearly aim to inflate their prices at the cash register, in order to obtain as much profit. It was claimed that these mini ice cream tubs are 99¢. Let's do the math together: $0.99+$0.99+$1.50+$0.35 = $3.83 Notice I had not included the Twix Ice Cream Candy Bar. A store can easily aim to inflate the price of this branded item. When $7.74 is applied without tax, it becomes $7.30. That means they had charged $3.47 for a Twix Candy Bar! It was also rumored that the bar was also supposedly 99¢ as well! If that were true, my ticket should've been $5.10 including tax, just surpassing the $5 minimum debit charge. If I were gracious enough to accept that the bar would be $2 even, my ticket would be $6.16 including tax. I honestly suggesting to anybody who may be short a dollar or two to never come to this store, none of the items are labeled and you may be overcharged. I had $14 in my account initially thinking what I had in my hand would be roughly $5, and it nearly became $8. Literally half of my money is gone and for families seeking to find a quick treat for their hungry children, this matters a lot. This is a huge problem, especially with many stores in town functioning the same way."
