"By far the worst experience I have ever had at any walk in clinic in my entire life. Was held for 5 1/2 hours with the flu in the lobby. Also, how hard would it be to just tell someone to go home in the 5 hours they will be waiting? The system of this clinic makes absolutely no sense. Also, the chairs will give u immense back pain so if you go for something you can be sure to leave with a sore lower back as well. Go to any other clinic in lubbock except for this. I’m honestly not sure how this clinic is legal."
"My grandson was running a 103 degree temperature, we get there, they tell us 101 min wait, about 55 min in, they tell us his temp has rose to 103.9 degrees, takes a covid test and flu test, and that it will be a 2 hour wait. How much higher does his temp have to get before it’s an emergency? The grandson is 4 years old at that. No importance to his well being at all, then I leave them there, drive past the emergency room and no one is there. They left brought him there. Thanks UmC"
"This is NOT an Urgent Care facility, this is a 2nd emergency room where you will spend your entire life waiting. What makes it worse is the fact the nurses are extremely rude and care less about anything but their lunches, breaks, and getting off. As for the room, is was freezing and there was still blood in the sink (seee photo). Overall, you are better off making an appointment with your primary care provider or going to the ER."
"I am so happy with the care I received and the kindness of the staff. I did have to wait quite a while but it was a busy Friday night & they were upfront about the wait time. They worked steadily & patients were being seen as quick as possible. Twice while I was waiting, a team member came through with bottles of water for patients. Shout out to the UMC Urgent Care Team! Your commitment to high quality care, makes a difference. Thank you!"
