"Oddly enough, I wasn't going for a hike. It was a rescue. Some of my family went kayaking. took two vehicles, one at the end point and the other at the start. Ended up leaving the keys for the car at the end in the car at the start.... luckily, a metro officer was making his rounds and was able to open the gates to get the kayaks loaded. But what I did see makes me want to go check it out in the day time."
"We bike through here quite often. Most of the time, you can find something small that makes you smile. Like this colorful flower. I love looking at wildflowers, and you can always find them at Broad Run! Love the entire park system here."
"Absolutely recommend this part of the Parklands! After you hike up the Louisville Loop for a bit you get an access to some nice trails - Lime Gorge, the gardens and also the Highlands trail further down. I spent almost 3 hrs hiking there and fully enjoyed it. A lot of wildlife!"
