"We held my daughters birthday party at the shelter again for the 2nd year and it's always a great experience! For the most part it is always clean around the area, friendly folks walking by, nice little playground and we pretty much have the place to ourselves without any disturbances. Great little park ☺️"
"Nice playground for kids up to 12 years of age. It has a water fountain and a community garden."
"Great place for playing PokemonGo! Lots of stops & gyms packed into this area. We love to fly our photography & FPV drones over the grassy areas & soccer/baseball fields (when no people are in those areas, of course), but the power lines here keep us on high alert! It's nice that the restrooms are almost always unlocked during park hours & the building is well-lit up on the hill as opposed to down in the less visible areas. The playground is cute & it seems like workout stations & tennis courts are in high demand, too. Low traffic area tucked in between Southland Christian & the Senior Center & Idle Hour neighborhood, but easy to find with ample parking on both sides."
"4 stars only because the playground is so small, but it's very clean and cute. It has some things that are unique. There's a nice path for walking or biking. There's also little stations for exercising."
"Excellent for a dog walk. Trails for a hike. Energi workout and calisthenics for those targeted agility, or missed gym days. I miss the basketball crowd, a once future past, in lieu of the removal of the court. There is still a goal behind the church. A small play area for kids. Plenty of real estate for baseball, football, futbol, or drills for whatever. A quiet scenic park for family fun!"
