East Buffet

"We tried this place out for the 1st time. We love Chinese buffets so we drove 35 mins to give it a go. We went for their all u can eat crab legs. They had lots to choose from. The fried fish was good and they have several options for shrimps to choose from. I liked everything I tried. The only thing that was not that good was the beef and broccoli. It did not look appetizing. For sure, the hot and sour soup was 1 of the best I have ever had. It was soooo good!! The place was clean and well kept. The service was not bad, certainly not the best. The hostess was a bit lost. I definitely recommend this spot."

"What can I say about East Buffet that hasn't already been said. The service was great. My water was never low and my empty plate was always gone before I got back. food is fairly on-par for most Asian buffets, the selection is smaller than most others, the place looks like it has some miles on it, and the selection is smaller than a lot of the other Asian Buffets in the surrounding Conroe/North Houston area. That being said, we did enjoy our meal here. Bourbon chicken is a hit or miss at most buffets, and while their chicken was a bit on the fattier side (to be expected with bulk purchased dark meat) the flavor was on point, the noodles and fried rice were all made well, and the included option of a slice of cheesecake for desert is a nice addition I have not seen for an Asian buffet before. Personally, I was not a fan of the seafood options, but they weren't all bad. All and all, it is a little bit cheaper than some of the other Asian buffets in the area, but honestly, I would rather pay a little extra for higher quality ingredients and more options, which is why I probably won't be coming back."

"This buffet gets the job done but it definitely leaves me looking for more options. There are several seafood items on the buffet that are just mediocre and I wish there was more focus on traditional Asian-American dishes. The fried rice is some of the best I have had from a buffet however it is not good enough to carry the whole meal."
