"If you're 25 years old and looking for a fun, quirky place to stay on Congress while you party your face off, this is a perfect place for you! I'm a seasoned business traveler so it's not necessarily my vibe but to each their own. The staff is very nice and attentive, but the rooms have seen better days. Again, if you're drunk, you probably won't notice the frayed towels or the mold in the shower. The lobby is very cute and hits the mid-century-modern-meets-kitch notes quite well."

"This motel is in a popular trendy location but the accommodations are quite lacking. The room is very old and very dated. They call it nostalgia, I call it a lack of upgrades. This is a lodging motel located in TX and there is a gap under the door that will allow for various critters with scales or with legs to slide under your door. Like what? How has this not been addressed? The door barely locks and the poor deadbolt is low quality with a draft and lots of light leaking in. And rather than having a keycard this place is still using a dated physical key that has passed through multiple hands. Totally not worth the stay. It seems like the motel is more focused on trying to be colorful with flags versus caring for the safety and well being of the guests. Poorly lit outside of the rooms and just didn’t feel or look safe since anyone could walk up to the courtyard from the sidewalk and have access to your front door. Feels more like a knights inn hotel by an airport location. Highly wouldn’t recommend and I won’t be staying here again. As Randy Jackson would say on American Idol…”that’s a no for me dog.”"

"The only reason I’m giving four stars is because it’s kinda expensive. I stayed here for a wedding but would come back here if I’m ever in town again! The location is perfect and the pool is so much fun! The room was clean and had everything I needed. I was comfortable and was able to get good sleep considering you’re right on the main road! I would stay here again and recommend to anyone looking to avoid just any hotel"

"Enjoyed a fantastic stay at the Austin Motel, thanks to its incredible service and prime location. Despite the rooms being small and a bit plain, their unique character adds charm. Be aware, the walls are quite thin, so it’s easy to hear the neighbors. Highly recommend for summer visits to make the most of the inviting pool. It’s a great spot to have fun with friends. Would definitely visit again!"
