Residence Inn by Marriott Austin Round Rock/Dell Way

"OK to be fair, the lady that checked me in was amazing. That is where it ended. There is no parking to check in. There is really no parking close to an entrance at all. There is no place to unload when it is raining. So be prepared to park far away and load the luggage cart in the rain. The entire place smells like mildew unless they have cookies for an hour. The refrigerator was turned off when I got here and smelled. The TVs are incredibly old and small. No streaming options, no guide, and they have remotes that wont let you change the input if you want to connect to the TV. They do have an old school channel guide on a piece of laminated paper next to the tv. This place is just run down and neglected. Marriott should give it up and close it. I am really sorry I chose to stay here."

"Well…. The hotel was alright but our room smelled like cigarettes, and there was no Netflix (despite being advertised on website) and no waffles in the breakfast (also advertised in photos). These were the only two reasons I chose this hotel over other Marriotts and I was so mad to find out I was duped."

"Worst RI or any Marriott property I ever stayed in. Smelly, outdated, multiple visible repair patches on the walls and bathroom tubs, dirty carpet, didn't have enough plates and bowls in the room, furniture falling apart and some items had patches due to age or bad use. We planned to stay for more than a month but had to shorten the stay and move to a different hotel. I wish I had checked the Google reviews before making a reservation."

"Beware of the speedbumps in the parking lot. The entrance seems hidden behind a restaurant. Our room had an odor, but was clean. Housekeeping staff was nice, but you have to request services. Good place for a low-key no frills stay."

"Unknowingly this place uses so much water softener salts, well, it cracked open both of my hands and feet. See, I was also drinking it. And I have a heart condition. I tried to post this non publicly but their site wouldn't allow it. The water produced a water retainage around my heart and my mouth still tastes salty 4 days later. My hands and feet have tiny cracks, fissures, in them I cannot get to begin to heal. Otherwise great stay. Just don't drink the water!!"
