"Booked a room several weeks ago and received a voicemail the day I was to check in saying they were over-booked and needed to relocate me to a Townhouse Suites (lower rating and cost, worse location) a mile down the road. I called back, telling them this wasn’t acceptable and they placed me back in a room at Residence Inn. Rooms are outdated and aging rapidly. Lobby and entry area are dirty and the hallway on the fourth floor smelled. Evening front desk clerk sits on a stool with sunglasses on top of his head blasting Fox News and doing his best not to speak or make eye contact with guests. As he was checking me in another guest approached and before he could simply finish “I have a quick question…” the clerk never breaking eye contact with the computer interjected with “I’ll be with you in a minute” almost under his breath. As Bonvoy Elite member this was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had at a Marriott property."

"Loved the breakfast options and the gym, all else was just the typical Residence Inn This was my first ever free hotel breakfast where there were two scrambled egg options! They were dry, but I got to choose which dry one I wanted. (Sheraton has this but that breakfast is only free for Platinum Bonvoy and above.) There were also some dry sausages. The fresh fruit variety was good too. Those weren't dry. Parking in the lot is quite a distance from the entrance. That's probably because the entrance is in the pit of this L-shaped hotel. I could hear footfalls on the ceiling in the breakfast area. So, maybe request the top floor if ceiling thumps are a nuisance to you."

"We had a comfortable stay here! I was in the area for surgery, so it was important that our room was comfy and nearby. The room was clean, breakfast was good (waffles and more) checking in and out was super easy online, and it’s walking distance to The Domain so we didn’t have to worry about parking in the city."

"Flew into Austin late Friday night, check in was so smooth and fast as we were beat from traveling this was a major plus. The suite is much nicer than expected, and has a small kitchenette if you prefer to save on eating out. Their complimentary hot breakfast was awesome. The staff was very nice and friendly."

"Location is great and conveniently located. Service was concerning, late check out was requested and granted, however, someone knocked and then proceeded to barge into our room from the hotel. I was unable to take a nap. The rooms were nice but the ac was straining and make an enormous amount of noise. I eventually ended up turning it off. The beds transmit any and all motion and woke my wife up because I would sometimes react to the air conditioner engaging and disengaging. So my sleep quality here was severely affected, would not recommend staying here if you are looking for restorative sleep. May try it again in the future if these issues are resolved, but overall disappointed"
