"Romantic suite! A cute weekend get away. The service was wonderful. All the small perks during the stay were amazing. This is not your typical hotel stay. I would recommend this hotel. However, the method of payment was only Amex. That was a bit disappointing."

"The location of this hotel is amazing. Very walkable or a quick ride to most iconic Austin spots. Everything is brand new and whenever I needed something, the service was very prompt. There’s a nice rooftop restaurant with amazing view and a cafe and spa downstairs. The suite is on the smaller side, well designed and comfortable. The large window with lake view was incredible. There’s a shower and tub and two person sink. The mini bar was well stocked as well. The heated pool is small, and not crowded. A good place to hang out."

"We liked the location of the hotel. It is perfect for everyone - those traveling with or without kids. They only have valet parking which is $50. However, they do allow you to go in and out. Another thing worth noting is that there is a required 2% fee donated to The Loren’s foundation. Overall, we had a good experience. I was worried our experience would be subpar based on the reviews. And though staff wasn’t very attentive, they were kind. However, I agree with others and wouldn’t say this is a 5 star hotel."

"While this hotel is very well located, the attitude of the front desk staff on the afternoon of Saturday 12/9 was disappointing. Neither staff member was welcoming. They were, in fact, somewhat demeaning, though the male staff member attempted to be more engaged. The female attendant, however, never made eye contact with my partner when she checked us in. After a confusing bag hold/check process at 11:30 a.m., we later returned to inquire into the availability of our room. As we waited patiently in line, the staff ignored us and allowed two women, clearly wealthy VIPs, to chat at length with one another about trips to Morocco while blocking the check in desk. After five minutes or more, I finally got the attention of the male staff member and was eventually helped. The female staff member had disengaged completely and was on her phone. Upon receiving our room keys, and despite my requests to the contrary, the bag attendant read our room number aloud in the lobby, which is a security risk, especially for women guests. It is to be noted, however, the desk staff on the morning of Sunday 12/10 were exemplary, as was the valet parking attendant on both drop off and pick up. The rooms were adequate, but not luxury. This hotel's primary benefit is its location and that is the only reason I would stay again."
