"Great location and friendly staff. Just a few minutes' walk to 6th and other cool stuff. The bodega was convenient and the cocktail bar was awesome. I did not try The Roaring Fork, but I heard good things and it had a decent crowd. My daughter enjoyed the indoor pool. The two queen room was a bit small and beat up. It looked nicer in the photos. My room could have used a little sprucing up like some paint or grout cleaning in the bathroom. The age of the property really shows. I think I would stay here again but I would look a little harder first before I spent nearly 300 bucks on this place."

"Great location in heart of Austin, walkable to UT and right next to Paramount Theatre. Their absurd rule you can’t check in without an additional $50 (even when 39 minutes from cutoff and after a nightmare travel day) was not the best way to be welcomed in. I confirmed the room was ready but at 12:30 had to pay extra to get it before 1pm. Rooms are dated but clean."

"Had a wonderful experience at this hotel! I stay downtown often and this was located in a perfect spot. Everyone was so friendly the moment we arrived, check in was so easy and the room was great along with the rest of the hotel. Yab was seriously the best person ever. And Chris was just as helpful ❤️"

"2nd time staying here. I came for the hot tub but return because of the service. As last time, great staff, friendly service, nice rooms (I even got a nice upgrade), convenient location. I was a bit lost in the stairwell and a friendly employee even directed me to the exit. Thank you Lori! Highly recommended. Will return."
