The Island on Lake Travis

"We stayed here through Airbnb. We really enjoyed ourselves. They have three different pools. They were all not very busy. My kids loved playing in them. Only one Jacuzzi was.working. They also have pickle ball and tennis courts. Though make sure you have shoes that do not have black soles. They are not allowed on the court. We also loved seeing all of the deer in the area. The lake is very low, I bet this place is really amazing when the lake is up to its normal levels."

"Perfect get away if you want something low key. This place is beautiful. We felt like the only people on the island. When we went, the water level was low so we did not get the full effect of an island but, it was still beautiful. The pools are beautiful over looking the water. they also have a great fitness area and spa. We rented paddle boards from Heather and spent the day on the lake, which was a lot of fun. They have a small town close by with some restaurants, not a big selection and everything closed down about 9. To do anything if you do not have a boat, it is all about 45 minutes away, if you have a boat it is about 5 to 10 minutes away. There were deer everywhere on the island. We went to the store and bought a bag of corn and fed the deer every evening, they will come eat right out of your hands. I would definitely recommend this place for some nice R and R."

"We had a wonderful time at the property of Lago Vista. The balcony view from the unit is stunning, and the weather is perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine. The unit is a hidden gem, easy to access and the manager's instructions were clear. The room itself is beautiful with a blue tone, open space, and a fully functional kitchen. The spacious bedroom has a door directly to the balcony and a comfortable bed. Our stay was smooth and enjoyable. The highlights were the balcony view and meeting friendly deers near the garage entrance; they are so friendly. We bought a bag of white bread to feed them and they all are excited, not scared at all. Love them dearly. Overall, we love this place and plan to return soon. Thank you for providing a cozy home-like experience."
