Plantersville Pines RV Park

"BEWARE! This is the worst RV campground that I have ever experienced in my over 50 years of camping/RVing.We had reservations months in advance. We drove from Michigan to Texas, and were told to occupy reserved sites 1 and 2. When we arrived to check in we found these 2 sites to be covered in debris and not usable. ( we have pictures) We advised the manager that we could not use these sites and requested a refund. The manager has refused to send any refund. It has now been 3 weeks. The owners and manager have acted very dishonestly. It is our opnion that this small campground is unkept and could pose SECURITY concerns. If you choose to camp here you will become aware of this at first sight. Management and owners will take your money and not provide any service."

"It's small, quiet, and close knit. Everyone watches out for everyone else. The landlord is super sweet and easy to w pork with. It is an RV PARK. NOT A RESORT. There is an on-site laundry (one washer and one dryer. Both coin op) and a central gazebo with a smoker and a fenced in dog park/run. Easy access to stores (a mile up 1774) and if you want more selection you can go a little ways, either direction, on 105 and hit a major town. I love it here. Everyone out here is a long term resident which is super nice. No constantly changing neighbors or traffic. I plan to be here for a whole lot longer."

"Moved here with my family knew the area well knew the old owners did not know how the new the new owner was running it but with in two days I meet my neighbors fell in love with all of them as I walk the park I was amazed at the improvement that have been made and cause of the new owners then after seeing how the owner dealt one on one with her renters and that she cares and if there was a issue how fast it was fix with a call to her I truly was amazed me and my family love it here thank you miss Chris"
