"Adorable little mom and pop place You have to stay if you're driving through and taking a scenic view definitely stopped at this little gym beautiful. I hope and pray that one day when I retire I can have something just like this I absolutely adore it And the man that owns it is super nice and it's very affordable and cheap It might not be a five-star hotel but you'll get five star treatment and it's super quiet some of the guests that stay there stay there because of work and very nice people"

"The room was clean the sheets were clean the bed was comfortable and large the bathroom was OKI didn't care for just the shower I wish they had a tub And they looked like they had just remodeled in the bathroom beautiful work Overall this was a great experience The staff was friendly and got me in the room quickly no Hassle."

"Don't have high expectations. But understand it's the most logical place to overnight in this sleepy little town. The competitors are either Waay overpriced or have the absolute worst reviews you've ever seen. This is an older roadside style motel that's in relatively good condition. Clean where it counts and no bugs. Now that's a nights sleep I can say is valuable. This is NOT A bad place to be."

"For the price, it was extremely worth it. It is an older motel but I knew that when I booked it. It is a little hard getting into town and on the freeways but it is do able. I am learning my way around Sealy. It is well kept but it could use a top to bottom good old spring cleaning. It is what a man would call, clean enough. It looks clean. It served my purpose. I will be coming back. And it was very quiet. And I felt very safe. The staff were very pleasant and I received excellent service. The staff are very accommodating and professional. You do need to bring your own coffee and coffee pot and your own blow dryer. I bring both of mine every where I go any way. Yes, there is bar soap there but bring your own shampoo and creme rinse. But for the price, you get air conditioning and heat, privacy, a small fridge with freezer, microwave, table with 2 chairs and a huge comfortable bed with clean linens, tv with remote, night stand and wall mount reading lamps and over head lighting as well. And room darkening drapes. And bring your own coffee cups or glass if you make your own coffee. They will bring you some ice and they have a coke machine, but no cups. Two towels and 2 wash clothes. So, basic but nice enough and you can not beat their price any where else. If you are picky, go some where else. But it was fine for me. I do bring my own disinfecting spray and disinfecting wipes but that is due to covid, just being safe. The staff will give you directions to where ever you are wanting to go. There are several things I want to come back and see in Sealy. I will be staying at the Star Motel too, when I return. Thank you Star Motel, for my pleasant stay."

"Pro’s: Very quiet, no automatic door closers constantly slamming the doors, everything worked, nice staff, awesome price. Came back for a second night; same thing. Con’s: No shampoo sample bottles; had to wash my hair with bar soap. No coffee, no hair dryer. Nothing fancy, older motel but was clean and got the job done at less than half the price of the nearby Holiday Inn Express."
