"Does not feel like Marriott quality. Only one elevator working so long waits. Breakfast had weak coffee, burnt meat, dirty dishes, dirty tables, stained napkins and most staff busy on phones. Great location and room was pretty clean though."

"All' the staff are very friendly and collaborative but the housekeeping should be improved, and the fire alarm needs maintenance (we had 2 alarms in 6 nights)"

"For me location was excellent Really cut down on the breakfast from previous stay. Do not like that certain breakfast items are not packaged properly."

"Rooms are spacious with nice amenities. There is an outdoor pool area with a cabana with lounge chairs, along with a grill/patio outdoor area. There is a bar, breakfast area, and lounge area on the main floor. The gym is ok. Laundry facilities are ok. If you get a good room, the view is great, overlooking a pond with a fountain, otherwise the view is a wall and/or apartments. Mostly everyone that works here is nice. Doesnt go out of the way for you but is friendly. Catherine at the front desk is very hospitable. I have currently been here 1 month with one week to go."

"We are two grandparents and two teenagers, stopping here on our return to Florida. Yesterday we were in Ft. Stockton, and I was looking for a hotel near Houston, about the limit of my daily driving. I found the Element, which I had not heard of before. I was looking for two queen beds and a sofa bed, and this had a nice suite that fit the bill. The friendly clerk checked us in, and up we went. As soon as my grandson opened the door and stepped inside, he yelled, “Best one yet!” High praise after being on the road 12 days. The room was beautiful, spotless. A nice kitchenette, gorgeous bath with walk in shower. The lobby and breakfast area are very nice. Complimentary breakfast. Just looking out the window I see a pool and barbecue area, would be a good place to hang out if we were staying longer. We didn’t have time to explore Katy, but this property is surrounded by residential apartments and commercial activity, all very new looking. Convenient to I 10. Great stay!"
