"Attended a Saturday working session with a member. Got to see all of the equipment for slabbing, cutting, shaping, polishing, and mounting rocks. Browsed a wide variety of gemstones, rocks, and even some petrified wood. Great non-profit organization. Very fun experience. Will definitely be back."

"The guys there were very nice and informative. I went to the late "class" (6-9) and they helped me choose a stone, explained how to carve it, explained the necessary safety equipment, and then let me try it out! You do have to sign a release form but as long as you keep your mind clear you should never get hurt. I will totally be back and strongly considering becoming a member!"
