"Great hardware store. Very friendly and helpful staff. They have a good selection of pretty much anything you need. There even had a few off the wall things I've needed, and my personal favorite they have long handled scoop shovels! Grills, grilling accessories, power tools, a good milwaukee section, good size paint section. Without the crowds from going to town"
"Excellent experience. I had a difficult time trying to find a specific paint/color at several stores in town, including some that were supposed to carry it. Joel at Ace was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, I'll definitely return to this location for future needs. Thanks again."
"So I like Ace I try to shop at Ace because supporting local business is important. I have a hand tool ( a Level ) that is an Ace tool. After years of use it broke. I went into Ace to have it replaced. I had done some research and An Ace corporate page on google said Ace hand tools would be replaced if broken. I walked into Ace very happy on my mission to get another great Ace tool. I was met by The owner of this store and Rick. I explained what was going on and that I would like it replaced. The owner said ( we don't do that, Don't know anything about that, and Craftsmen tools would be replaced ) I went on to try to explain about the website and google when he cuts me off and says ( anyone can put anything on google ) The owner then again told me about craftsmen tools. Rick at this point had found the information and was off to get a replacement level. The owner called the regional manager and was on hold. The owner then for a third time started to tell me about Craftsmen tools. At this point after hearing about Craftsmen tools for the third time said ( I don't know why you are telling me about Craftsmen tools when this is an ACE level ) The owner then told me to leave the store. At this point Rick showed up with the level and I could hear the guy on the phone telling the owner to give me the level. This is a $10 level. Imagine how much flake someone would get trying to get this store to replace, fix, refund, or help with a large ticket item. I got the level and drove straight to Home depot and bought a MILWAUKEE level and gave the ACE level to someone in the parking lot. I could take this new level and bake it in the oven and go back to Home Depot and they would replace it without question. I will never use Ace Hardware again. If you want a store to back you up stick with a strong store that does not run on the mood of the owner trying to penny pinch a $10 tool. Yes I got the tool replaced but I should not have to be argued with and belittled. Ace is a dying brand and things like this maybe the reason. Last note: Rick at this Ace store is awesome! This whole thing would probably have been smooth as silk if the owner had not been there."
"Well stocked shelves and helpful employees marked my trip to Evansville's newest hardware store. The item selection is standard for an Ace, so things like lumber, major appliances, flooring, etc. you'll still be buying elsewhere. Prices seemed to reflect a bit of the convenience, but were generally competitive. Be aware that, although you can freely walk between the Ace Hardware and Napa Auto Parts sides of the building once inside, items must be purchased in the half they're found in."
