"I visited this location earlier today due to nausea, vomiting, lightheadedness and other symptoms from what I believed to be food poisoning. The registration was very quick and I was called back by a nurse within 10 minutes. I quickly learned the my BP was off the charts and was placed into a room for an EKG. While I was being treated, the intake individual from the front desk stood outside my room waiting for more information about my insurance. I did not find this to be professional at all especially considering how ill I was at that moment. Nevertheless, I provided her once again with my insurance info. Towards the end of my treatment, nurses begin changing and the doctor ordered one last round of IVs. I explained to the nurse that came in with discharge papers what the doctored ordered however she disregarded and proceeded to roughly remove my IV. She DID NOT assist with removing the numerous EKG stickers and left the room. Thankfully, another individual passed by and noticed me struggling to get them off. I explained to her that I was still very weak and the nurse left me to do it on my own so she helped me out. Not to mention the intake individual was back outside the room wanting more signatures. I felt overall rushed and slightly disregarded. Maybe because I’m AA and they assumed I didn’t have insurance? I will visit a different ER tomorrow as my symptoms are still very prevalent. I should have read the other reviews prior to risking my life driving to this location….."
"Took my father to get looked at because he had some lumps on his body. Doctor just looked at him and said. He had lipoma. Showed me some pictures of what they looked like and said we were good to go home I asked if they were going to run some test to see what it was he said “no” that what he had was not life threatening to run some test on my dad. Well it’s a week later and my dad’s condition got worse and brought him to another emergency hospital care. They ran some test on him, turns out my dad has cancer stage 4. Terrible service if you need medical attention definitely don’t go there go somewhere where they actually going to help. If I could I would not even rate them with a star."
"This place is a joke. The dr came in laughing and joking in the hall way. Just to dismiss me if I die because this tooth ache you will never be able to practice again. All she cared about was her bottom line. Telling me this is not billable as an emergency. Then nonchalantly apologized. I’m in so much pain right now my whole face is on fire up into my head. No x-ray no proper exam, would not even offer an antibiotic, when ask was told no because this does not qualify billable as an emergency. Who are you to tell me what I’m going through is an emergency or not. My symptoms alone qualify. This place is a complete joke. My whole head is throbbing so bad I can barely feel like I can see. Memorial has always been top notch this place though is a joke especially the Dr on duty tonight. All she cares about is the money watch and see you never practice again due to neglectful due diligence. I’m not stoping here. Not an emergency but told to be seen by urgent care, when you claim to be urgent care!!"
"I came in because I knew I was having a miscarriage & they refused to see me. Tried to offer me Tylenol & a breathing treatment. I told him I was pregnant & he told me I wasn’t without even administering a test. Worst ER ever"
"This hospital is in violation of the No Surprises Act of the 2021 Consolidated Appropriations Act by listing themselves as an Urgent Care facility within the insurance industry but then billing patients as an Emergency Center. I will be contacting the Federal Trade Commission to investigate on behalf of myself and the rest of every other American consumer who was financially taken advantage of at this location. Hopefully some of use can be rightfully reimbursed. Be prepared to pay for an Emergency Room visit NOT an Urgent Care center. If I knew that I’d be billed for ER visit I would have went to the ER closest to my home instead of driving all the way out there. Earlier that day my Primary Care Physician suggested I go to an Urgent Care clinic for immediate treatment so I ended up going here after seeing it listed as an Urgent Care facility. After a failed IV attempt, The ER doctor at this location did nothing but refer me back to my regular Primary Care Physician. Then at the end I was handed a surprise ER bill. Waste of time and money"
