"I give 0 stars. They lied to my warranty comp saying I had rust in my ac when in fact they never even looked inside anything. They didnt fix or do anything. They were rude from the get go. Let their selves into my home and started opening doors trying to find the basement. When down in the basement they walked all over trying to find the furnace. I was with them the entire time. Dont trust these fools."
"As a brand new condo owner, I was flustered when my air conditioning stopped working. I was assigned Advantage Heating and Cooling by my home warranty folks. I was under the impression that I had a heat pump and an AC unit. As it turns out, I do not. They couldn't help me, because they don't work on heat pumps. That is not what frustrates me, when you can't work on something you just can't. What bothered me was the lack of manners and any sort of customer service. When I called Monday morning at about 8:30 they said they had an availability and would go check it out for me. I asked when I could expect them and the gentleman on the phone said he would call when they were on the way so I could meet them there. He also said to expect that call around noon. At about 9:30 I get a phone call from their service number and when I pick up I'm told, "We're here." There was no call letting them know they were on the way so that I could meet them over there. In a panic, I grab my stuff from my office and go to head over to meet them. I let them know it would be about 15 minutes. They said that was fine and I started over to the condo. As I'm approaching the complex and am less than two minutes away, I pull up to stop light and glance down at my phone. I have a missed call from their service number. I quickly return the call as I'm sitting at the same red light. I'm then told they can't wait around for me, they have other appointments, and that they had left. Again, I'm not bothered by the fact that they don't work on heat pumps. And that was on me for not knowing my system better. But, the brisk and rude manner I was treated with was unacceptable. There were no please, thanks you, or I'm sorry in any conversation I had with them other than from myself. It was almost as if the potential as a paying customer was bothersome to them. I would have been more than glad to apologize in person and pay them for coming out, had they bothered to stay."
"This company is very unprofessional and arrived in my driveway telling me there’s nothing they could do without previously checking ANYTHING. They were sent to me by my home warranty company. I would recommend going with another company before this company wastes your time. They claim to do nothing with heat pumps - even though that’s not what the issue was."
"Very unprofessional. I had an AC issue and my home warranty set me up with this company. I called and explained what was happening (very little in detail since I am not handy with HVAC issues) Guy on the phone (sounded older) said it was my heat pump with very little detail from me. He said his company does not service or do anything with heat pumps. (he even for some reason blasted my realtor saying they screwd me up with my home warranty) I then got off the phone and did some investigating and my unit does not have a heat pump. I called back (left a message) and they never returned my call. Sounded like they wanted nothing to do with me and my AC issue. I was then set up with another company through my HW and they confirmed when they came out that I do not have a heat pump. Guy on the phone was very short with me as well. I would stay away from this company."
"Our furnace started having trouble keeping the house warm this morning. I made an appointment through my home warranty company, which was originally set for tomorrow. I contacted Gary to ask if they could possibly squeeze us in today, and sure enough, he and his partner arrived just a few hours later. After a quick assessment, they determined the source of the problem and had it fixed in no time! I'm very pleased with our experience, and definitely recommend this company."
