"My husband and I love staying at this wonderful lodge for fishing at the Arroyo. The owners are so kind and accommodating. Beautiful views and so close to the pier. I recommend if you need a great place to fish at Arroyo!"

"Plans got cancelled and by chance we ended up booking a cabin here. Best thing that has happened in a long time. The hosts were so amazingly accommodating. We had a late arrival and she met is to open up and give us key. Not a normal fishing cabin, this is also a bed a breakfast so had a continental breakfast available. There are two seperate fishing areas available to guests. One large pier complete with fish cleaning station and another covered area right on the retaining wall. If you are a bird lover, this place is just for you. So many different types flying by all day. Our cabin was a 2 bedroom that slept 6. One bedroom had a queen size bed, and the other had 2 double beds. There were 2 single beds in living room area. While there is WiFi available, it was very weak. If you are looking to book a weekend to unplug...this place is it. Such great scenery. We all enjoyed it and are looking forward to getting back."

"What a beautiful and relaxing place to go to! You rent your own “apartment” for as many days as you want. No one there to bother you, everything so quiet and peaceful, and the place have their own private fishing dock to relax and fish. They have enough space to play volleyball, BBQ, or simply hangout! My family and I have gone there several times. My brother in law has even taking their boat to ride on by the river located right off their backyard."

"I visited Atascosa Outlook when I had a few days in between business trips. Larry & Fran were terrific hosts and the rooms were both clean and spacious. I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys fishing, relaxing, good barbeque, and great company."

"We had a family reunion at Atascosa Outlook and it was a joyous time. Our hosts, Larry and Fran, couldn't do enough for us and the facilities are spotlessly clean and roomy. Overlooks the Arroyo Colorado and fishing off the pier day AND night can't be beat. Fresh bread at breakfast was a treat, as well as meeting all our needs for accommodations and setting us up with fishing guide. BEST place in Arroyo City!"
