"Third year staying at Pecan Farms on the Frio with our friends. We look forward to this amazing place every summer and even though the river level was low this year due to the draught we still had a great time! As you can see in the pictures there were still a couple of deep spots and cold clear water to relax in. Cabins are so comfortable and the kitchens are well stocked with cooking utensils, baking sheets, dishes etc. The local grocery store is very close and the office has a great little shop. Warning ⚠️ Verizon cellular service is extremely spotty here. Only WiFi is at the office."

"We spent Thanksgiving at the Frio River Pecan farms. My family rented two cabins for the holiday. It was such a great time. We made Thanksgiving dinner, plenty of room & everything that we needed was available. We walked around the farm & by the river daily. My son built several campfires. We attended the arts & crafts show on Saturday in Leakey. We even had our pictures taken with Santa. We also visited the State Parks nearby. Lost Maples was just beautiful & we stopped by the winery of the same name on the way there. Garner State Park was just as fun. The fresh air & peacefulness that surrounds the area is refreshing, feeds the soul! If you can’t tell, we will definitely be back to visit this amazing place!"
