"I have never "glamped" before. It was an experience we will do again . The teepee was well equipped with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. There was an electric blanket we only discovered afterwards. We were warm enough."
"We loved Casa Agave! It is right next to another Casita but we never saw our neighbors and it had plenty of privacy. The room was clean and comfy. We would definitely recommend it."
"Absolutely gorgeous view and Casa Agave is a great place to stay the night at. The bed was absolutely wonderful and the Keurig machine was a nice touch. Loved that you could sit outside in the chairs provided and stargaze all night."
"I’m surprised by the 1 star ratings. We stayed here for two nights in 2018 following four nights of tent camping in the Chisos Basin of Big Bend and could not have asked for a better stay. It’s far enough off the main road for peace and privacy but still only a short drive (or even walk) to town for food. La Posada Milagro has amazing breakfast burritos, and the Starlight Theater is a great way to unwind for dinner, drinks and live music. For a small town, there are plenty of good food options, so no need for a kitchen. Regarding some of the other comments - I do agree that a dresser would be nice, but my husband and I each only had a duffel bag, so the chairs worked fine. You are in the desert, so can’t imagine a need for a closet to hang clothes when the environment is as casual as it comes. Then for the firewood, the welcome instructions note that firewood is available for purchase at the local general store. We purchased ours from there on the way into town. I’m glad it’s not provided because with the wildfire potential, you want to make sure guests are aware of the risk and are being responsible. Also, don’t know why you would come to one of the most remote places in the US and expect a TV! If you don’t plan to disconnect, rethink your travel plans and stay in a bustling city."
"I will agree it is clean and well kept. And the views are spectacular. However the large room is big enough for a bed two side tables were you can’t store any clothes and two chairs, there’s no place to hang up your clothes or put your clothes away for a long stay there’s a fire pit but no wood or any way to start the fire there’s a refrigerator in the room no TV no radio I personally would not recommend this place I will not be staying here on our next trip."
