"Very trustworthy and responsive company, but also very expensive! There is a $49 service fee just to come out and check out what needs to be done, then they give you a price to do the job. If you agree, they get it done right then and there. My job was to replace a hard-wired smoke detector in the ceiling that was defective. The new model (which I purchased beforehand and provided to them) had a different plug assembly which the tech changed out by unscrewing three wires and then reattaching the new plug. The detector was from the same company and it fitted in the existing ceiling bracket. The whole process took 5 minutes. My charge was $263.00! I've been a longtime customer and believe in paying for quality work, but this was overpriced. Yes they told me upfront the cost and yes I agreed. I needed the combo smoke/carbon monoxide installed. Just be prepared financially."
