"I would have given a 5 star rating had it not been for the ongoing renovation. The air quality inside the room was affected by it. If you are allergic to dust, call and make sure the renovations are over before you book."

"Our stay was just OK. Arriving was confusing. Yes, there is a large sign on the building that says ENTRANCE. However, because of the remodel there is so many boxes, mattresses, debris, etc in the front drive that it looked like a service alley instead of an entrance to a hotel. I called the front desk while sitting at the corner to find out if I was in the correct place. I explained that while I saw the entrance sign, it looked like a service alley, not an entrance for guests. The lady at the front desk didn't explain that they were remodeling so it may look that way, but the entrance is definitely there. She just kept repeating "We're at the corner of St. Mary's and Market St." She was very annoyed and treated us like a nuisance, even after we figured everything out and made it inside. We were still polite and kind. Tried to give her our Hilton Honors number and she wouldn't take it, saying "You can put it in on your app, but you're not going to get any points." OK..... If she hates her job, she could just say that. Our room was clean and freshly remodeled. It was nice, but corners were definitely cut. One of our lamps/plug in stations next to the bed didn't work at all. Every time we plugged something in, it fell right back out. The shower curtains, towels, and sheets were old and raggedy. Sheets had stains. Breakfast staff was wonderful! The food was not. It was cold and tasteless. Probably won't stay here again. While our stay was OK, it wasn't spectacular."

"Good place to stay for a couple of days. However, self-parking parking and valet are outrageous costs. To be honest, it's better to go elsewhere further from this area. You can use the same brand name or a different one. if you want to visit this area just uber in it may cost less than parking for the whole day. Just want to add to this customer service is great and very helpful. I giving them 5 star!"

"I had an amazing stay here. I brought in the new year in this hotel and I have nothing negative to say about my stay here. First of all it was affordable for me. The valet was great, took great care of my car all three nights I was there, the check in was a breeze even though we got there before check in time, they still accommodated us. Our room was clean and everything worked perfectly. The breakfast was excellent and I enjoyed the calm view from the breakfast area. It’s at an ideal location next to the riverwalk but not right next to the busy restaurants and entertainment area so the hotel is quiet. I would definitely stay here again when I go back to San Antonio. 5⭐️"

"Location is excellent and the view from our room was excellent. The entire hotel is pretty tired and becoming outdated. Our room was pretty worn out with a big tear in the couch and the shower door came off it’s track almost landing on my spouse. The appliances looked brand new so that was a plus. I would absolutely stay here again considering the price. The valet cost was a little shocking, we used it one night and then parked the car a block away for $20 a day instead of $47 plus tip for valet."
