"Black mold in shower walls, tv remote was dead, iron did not get that hot, fridge barely registers as cold, 3 large towels for a room made for 4, they were lots of signs of dust in the room and took my sandals off and my feet got dirty black after a while. The breakfast fell below the expectations of what a hot breakfast is supposed to be. No bacon, alternative juices besides oj, did not see cereal, waffle machine, and maybe some cut fruit would have been nice too. Did see a few whole apples. The soap and shampoo dispensers were a plus for me. I hate going to a hotel and they give a days worth of shampoo for 1-2 people. Overall if they take care of some of these, it would definitely be worth the money and get better reviews from everyone."
"STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. Reasons as follows; Do not get deceive by the cheap hotel rate the time you pay $60-$70 and then tourism and tax charges it’s almost $90 you can spend extra $20 and find way better hotel for the following issues. 1. Bathroom tub water was not draining and you have to take a shower while your ankles are in dirty water. Videos are shown 2. Sink is in the bedroom get back up with the water. Videos are shown 3. Breakfast is not good even as a continental malfunction juice machine is not working so don’t even get deceived into free breakfast. They run out of yogurt, milk and potato dish. They ran out of other stuff and if you come down stairs after 8:00 am good luck all you will have a coffee which is half water nasty And some pancakes that you can make and that’s all. Even apples for fruits run out. Air-conditioning system smells bad and it takes 20-25 minutes to get the smell out. Towels have stains on them so please bring your own towels to this hotel before you get some kind of disease. Management will do nothing to accommodate. Please think twice if you want to book this hotel pay $20 extra and get something better you’ll thank me later and peaceful sleep."
"The set up of the room was perfect for our family of 6. 2 queen beds and 1 king bed. There’s only one bathroom but we managed to make it work just fine. The location is great if you are visiting Six Flags. We mostly just needed a place to sleep and shower since we were out most of the day and the room fulfilled that. It is a tad outdated (furniture/tv/decor) and it could be “cleaner” (mildew in the toilet was our only encounter). Decent pool for those who visit during the summer. Beds were comfy for the price and our AC worked great. Only complaint is breakfast needs to run longer, 7:30am-9:30am is too short and rushed. However for the price point and location, I would stay here again."
"Arrived at midnight and I automatically felt judged by the front staff. I smelled like smoke because I had a cigarette while on my 5 hour drive and front staff kept mentioning no smoking in the room to me like 50 times! I know what the fines are wouldn't be dumb enough to do something like that. To top it off, when we finally got our room the a/c was off and it took forever for the room to cool. Then comes breakfast and the staff started picking up and kept rushing me and my family to finish up. The are is good but the staff not so friendly. I would not stay here again."
"There was mold all around the top of the bathroom shower. I even took pictures. The room was just not as clean as it should be. Carpet was gross. I had to make sure the windows were locked because they could open and we had children and they were toward the parking lot. Definitely did not like that. The AC did not work the best (it was not uncomfortable— just not what it read or supposed to be.) we had to put it at 60 before dinner and still did not get cold until middle of night. I would have asked to switch rooms but if I had to pack up belongings and change rooms, then I would have just changed hotels. Very disappointed that this was a best western plus. It was no where near the quality of other best westerns. The only thing that was nice about this place was the 2 ladies and the pool. (Which hot tub was colder than the pool.) Also, to use the weight room, you had to get a separate key to use. We didn’t end up using it. The outside was kept nice. I just wish they took care of the inside like they did the outside. Overall, I would never stay there again and I would not recommend it to anyone. This hotel should not be a best western plus. Luckily, we didn’t spend a lot of time here or I definitely would have changed hotels."
