Holiday Inn Express & Suites San Antonio Medical-Six Flags, an IHG Hotel

"1) DOES NOT LOOK LIKE PICTURES AT ALL. 2) My holiday ins in Dallas look 100xs better, and the service is much better. For the amount that I paid, I should’ve just paid the very few extra dollars to stay on the river walk. 3) The water takes forever to get warm. 4) Beds are stiff. 5) The lights over the bed do not turn off. 6) The room door has to be slammed to close. 7) Only one elevator works. 8) I booked online, and came in and still had to pay additional fees. 9) I booked a very specific room, and did not receive it. The manager was adamant on telling me how wrong I was. She was not pleasant AT ALL. 10) Room phone does not work. 11) Sockets are not good. 12) How could you not have the waffle maker??? The pancake maker had a long line. The machine said it only takes 1 minute. It took a good 4 for each. 13) I hate it here."

"Made a reservation for the party hall for baby’s gender reveal party. But never received any confirmation email from hotel. Initially they told that they will charge me $250. But I was charged $545, in the name of cleaning charge, even though I had asked them while leaving if you want me to do the cleaning and we did clean the food trays and everything except confetti and they said they have all the equipments to clean it and they will take care of it. So I had tipped the cleaning staff. Two days later I came to know that I have been double charged. Front desk staff and management were very rude to me when I was asked why they have charged me more. Showing tantrum as if they are providing services for free. They are not ready to discuss on the issue and coming up with bunch of lies. Received a receipt of the transaction after 2 months. Never ever going to this hotel in my lifetime."

"Don’t let the nice and pretty pictures fool you. This hotel looks nothing like the pictures! The nastiest hotel ever. The hallway had trash everywhere and looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in days. The elevators barely worked and smelled like dirty mop water. We stepped a foot into our room and immediately walked right back out. They look like they have roaches and they don’t clean often. We knew we wouldn’t be comfortable staying there so we checked out and went somewhere else."

"As someone who travels often, I will never stay here again. This is the dirtiest hotel I have ever been to. I myself am a housekeeper and know what a clean room looks like. The lights were broken, air conditioning didn't work, the freezer door was broken, the shower was cold and didn't heat up. The hallway has probably never been vacuumed. It took three days for our room to get cleaned, and this was only after we complained. Each time we asked after, they never cleaned again. The elevator also is definitely in need of a repair. They barely give you any towels or toilet paper, and the people who work here are all very rude."
