"I don't usually write bad reviews, but because of the lack of contact, I had no other option.Firstly, let me mention how understanding and helpful Monica and Nora (I believe that's her name) were. They provided exceptional service with a great deal of empathy. I will explain why I am unhappy with the management they work with.When I had to cancel my reservation at the last minute, I was informed that the management team had offered me the choice of doing so at no cost or changing it to a different day. They assured me I wouldn't be charged when I choose to cancel at no cost. I was charged the following day, even though I had been assured I would receive a refund.They advised me to speak with Roberto, but when I spoke with him, he was extremely impolite and didn't even give me an opportunity to express myself. I was going through a really difficult time, so I wish he had been a little more empathic and had the nerve to tell me that, since I work for hotels, I should know better than to cancel at the last minute.Furthermore, he informed me that there are no last-minute cancellation exceptions made by the hotel. Although I am aware that most hotels do make exceptions, Roberto most definitely handled this case incorrectly. Both of the front desk employees informed me that Alex, the general manager, made the exception. I had no desire to talk to Roberto any longer. He was very rude and contemptuous and absolutely showed no empathy of my situation. When I called again the next day to ask for the general managersl's email the gentleman who worked the evening shift was also incredibly disrespectful well.  I had introduced myself, and since he wasnt speaking clearly, I had asked him once more nicely for the email address of the general manager so I could report the situation. He became silent for about twenty seconds, a sign of irritation and repeated with a attitude.  I thanked him for the email address, but all I got in return was a call that was cut off. Throughout my numerous stays here, I have never encountered such unprofessional conduct from both the front desk and management. I have not received a response from the general manager. I don't usually write negative reviews, but this time it's because I haven't heard back from any management."

"We've stayed here multiple times while visiting family in San Antonio. Front desk staff is always so friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean but could use an update. There is a smaller HEB a block over so that makes it nice to go and grab late night snacks."

"We found the beds to be very comfortable. The staff working at breakfast were friendly. Breakfast had a good variety of food: oatmeal, waffles, eggs, cereal, bagels, toast, yogurt,  coffee, and juice, just to highlight a selection. They provide a shuttle to downtown locations,  which was terrific.  This aved us on ride share fares.  And our shuttle driver was great. He was friendly and showed concern for us, making sure we knew last pick up times. Finally, the front desk did their best to be very accommodating. We are very glad we chose to stay here."

"Great Hotel! We stayed here for a weekend for an anniversary trip. The room was modern and updated. We were less than 10 minutes from the Riverwalk and they have a free shuttle! I didn't move my car the whole time! From the staff to the Shuttle Driver Cal was absolutely incredibly. Everyone was super nice and friendly. Their gym was the nicest gym in a hotel I've ever seen. If you are looking for a budget friendly option, with free parking and great service this is the place for you!"
